This is a good chill pad for the price. This is a product that is easy to hook up to your laptop and has a USB plug to use with the laptop.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Targus Dual Fans Cooling Mat. I am glad that it keeps my laptop from overheating and damaging it.

My laptop has been running warm lately so I bought the cooling pad. Since I have used it with my laptop, I have not had a problem. Also, I have not had to use the fan that cools it. Just keeping my laptop on it is good enough.

The unit was easy to remove from the box and set up. It holds the 17" laptop at a good angle which can be adjusted. I like that it turns itself on and off as the computer is on and off - it uses the USB power from the computer so no magic just good engineering. It is not obnoxious but it is slightly noisy. I am sensitive to such noise, so your reaction may be different. It could be improved by adding some supplementary USB ports but no such model was available. This unit is a good value as well as being a very good unit.

All you have to do is plug the mat into the computer and you are finished. Helps keep my computer cool and keeps the dangerous laptop heat off of my lap. Make sure you get the right size that matches with the size of your laptop.

I have an older laptop that gets quite hot. This mat has allowed me to use the laptop for longer periods and on my lap as well. It would get too hot for me to have on my lap while I was sitting on a couch, easy chair, etc.

This replacement model is much quieter than the original.

Does a great job cooling and is very quiet. However, my 19" laptop just barely fits on it. Could be a bit bigger for larger laptops but great, quiet product over all.

Good product compared to other 17" laptop chill mats. When adjusting up, laptop is very unstable and can easily tip over.

Bought this as a gift to use with a large 17" laptop. Laptop is very heavt but is supported by the product, the 2 fans a reasonably quiet and are powered by a USB connection. Also has no slip surface so it won't slide off your lap. There are more expensive one out there which might be fine for a serious gamer with a high end laptop, but this works great for the average user.

It really helps cool the older model HP laptop. Ability to only use a USB port on the left side a little inconvenient.

It's quiet and it does fold into a convenient to carry depth. But, when I close the lid to my laptop, the mat doesn't hold the computer in place; so, it can be awkward when I'm in a hurry to leave my desk. Also, though the product is marked "for 17" laptops" it's a bit short, a quarter inch on each side of the keyboard is hanging off the mat! My screen is only 15" wide...!

Fan is quite enough not to disturb anyone, keeps the heat away from my legs and seems to last a few hours. I haven't left if running just to see how long it would last. I'd purchase it again anyway.

Got this for my new laptop and am really liking it so far. It holds my laptop in place and the fans aren't too loud. I like that it has two fans instead of one just in the center for better cooling.

This was suggested to me by the geek squad. My hp laptop always runs a little hot, and this seems to help.

This cooling pad is great for sitting on the couch and keeping my legs cool and the laptop from heating up. It does exactly what I need it to do!
