Does what I need it to do. I originally purchased a different guard online but they weren’t wide enough, so I went to Best Buy for convenience. Luckily, I bought the last pack in stock. The first cover I took out of the package was broken. I had trouble removing the paper backing off the adhesive on the 2nd guard, and ended up removing the adhesive too, rendering it unusable. I carefully took the 3rd guard out of the package, struggled removing the paper backing, and successfully placed it over my webcam. It’s on there, but I notice it slides slightly up and down, I’m guessing when I open and close my laptop lid. It does what I need it to, but I just wish the adhesive was a little stronger. I cleaned my monitor prior to application. I have a different guard on my personal laptop and do not have any issues with movement.

These are pretty much one-time-use covers because unless you’re willing to cut extremely thin double-sided scotch tape, if you position it wrong or decide you want to move/remove it - you’re done. You’re not going to be able to use it again because the cover won’t stick and/or the sticky stuff that kept it where you put it isn’t staying on the back of the cover. So CAREFULLY position it (hint: do it with the cover in the OPEN position so you can center the camera eye in the middle of the opening). And then . . . you’re not going to be able to use it on some future device. Enjoy it where it is. That said, it works very well on laptops and iPads. You don’t have to be paranoid to want to have the option of covering the camera (front facing) on your device.

I'm not gonna lie, I felt totally stupid paying for such a simple product. But, after installing it and using it a few times I was totally vindicated. It is great and very much a life changer for anyone who uses their laptop camera more than every once and a while. I previously was taking tape one and off and re sticking it on. If you are, as I was, concerned about your laptop closing with it on, I can confirm that it works on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015). Great replacement to the sticky notes that I have been using

In this time of distance learning, it is nice to be certain that the camera is off. I am a teacher, and use it when admitting students while continuing to prepare my classroom. The cover is easier to access than the toggle on the screen, and it can be used in any screen configuration.

This handy little set came with a couple different colors to choose from which was nice. Also it was super easy to install which made it an even better purchase for me.

I have heard about people hacking into webcams, so I wanted to take precaution. I stumbled upon this product and had to get it. It's easy to install and use, and it better than putting tape on your camera. You can slide on and off the cover. Plus, for $10 you get 3 covers. Can't beat that

Very effective security measure that is simple to install. The slide moves very easily so it's necessary to remember to check that the slide door is still covering the lens when webcam not being used.

This product does exactly as advertised. It helps me feel safe from people viewing through my camera without my permission. Well, I guess they still could, they would just be getting an up close look at the back of this.

The spy guard webcam cover ensures my privacy - especially when in and out of meetings. I like that it is easy to use and not easily removable. I had another that kept coming off - so I thought I would try this brand. Pricing is just right and with three I was able to share with family members. Especially good when you have kids going on the laptop to do their homework and you need to keep their privacy.

This product was great! It came in 3 different colors for the different computer variations. I eliminated tape and replaced it with these tiny sliding camera covers. Works well for any labtop. Can hardly be seen.

Works. But not the most secure sticker I've ever used. Feels like it could easily fall off. And it actually did slide down at first.. I had to re-attached it.

This is a really simple and inexpensive way to protect your privacy (a bit) if you have a Web cam. Looks better than using tape!
