By simply utilizing one USB port on your laptop, you can create a Dual monitor workspace in about 10 minutes. Works excellent.

Easy setup compared to other budget options. Have been using daily in a business environment for 2 months with no issues. I've experienced wireless keyboard/mouse lag with other models in this price range but the Targus works perfectly.

I recently purchased the Targus - USB 3.0 Docking Station. Does as is advertised. I have had no issues - the LAN, video, and USB all work very well. Speed is quite good - I haven't measured it, but I have no complaints. Installation/setup took a little time. The instructions recommended to update my tablet's drivers, which I did - no issues here. The setup asked which video chip & drivers my tablet was using - this was a bit more difficult to determine. I did some research - the video chip/driver in my tablet did not match the options the Targus installation provided, so I took my best guess and everything worked fine. I like this product - the 3 extra USB3 ports are wonderful. The external monitor (in addition to my tablet screen) is wonderful. It is great to have the Targus docking station ready to go...all I need to do is plug in the one USB3 connecting cable.

I knew about the power when I purchased the dock. So I used another power supply. But targus does make one that also supplies power. I have it. I was setting up a new laptop for my mother in law.

This unit is compact and easy to use - plug and play. Works well.

THIS IS SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE. I SET ONE UP FOR MY GRANDPA AND HE TAKES HIS LAPTOP ALL OVER AND HE FIGURED OUT HOW TO USE IT WITH EASE.

Good universal docking station. I purchased it together with a 2-1 tablet and I was able to quickly and easily set it up. I do wish it had more USB ports.

This is an excellent item to help declutter my desk. The only thing I wish it had was ethernet capabilities.

I read some bad reviews about this docking station and bought it anyway! I'm glad I did. Yes, it was a little frustrating to get set up, but it's been performing great! I bought a 24" Monitor so I could have two screens to work from. The issue I had was that one of the lap tops I use is older and doesn't have USB3. Yes, it works! It took some doing, but I can now switch between a laptop with USB 2 and another with USB3 and they both work! Great value and I'm able to do exactly what I set out to do. Thanks for the help, Best Buy (store helped me get everything set up and working)! Great Customer Service!

This is a great way to add a docking station to any laptop, Easy to use and easy to setup.

I purchased this docking station for my home office. It works great and am pleased with my purchase. I had a few questions with it so I contacted Targus tech support and they were extremely helpful.

Got on sale at great price. Does the job albeit without a lot of extra features.

I wanted an easy way to connect my laptop to my printer, keyboard, mouse and big beautiful screen (from last desktop). The docking station works fine for all that. I would have liked at least one more port in it for speakers, USB extension (for ease), etc. It is works well for its intended purpose and didn't bust the bank. I will say I haven't figured out how to shut my laptop and keep it running on my big beautiful screen... so I use it with the laptop open and have two monitors going (laptop and big beautiful screen) at the same time for an extended display.

This dock station worked great and it was very easy to install.

I purchased this with the idea of using multiple screens with a new laptop. It is only rated for 1 screen, but if one monitor is plugged into the device, the other can be plugged into the laptop.
