After a couple months, everything has been working as expected. I wish there was an options for a long cable.

I bought this to set up a home office and multiple tv's used as monitors. This was my second choice due to cost. I really wish instead of the slots for memory cards it had one more spot for a keyboard or mouse type connection. I was able to use this for both tv's, wireless keyboard/mouse, my cell phone but since I needed one more port my wireless camera had to be connected right to the computer. I would have preferred it to be the Targus. Overall great product, easy to use/setup and I would buy again if needed.

So happy I found this adapter for the price I did because of the sale they had that day, most importantly it supports both monitors and that’s hard to find with the Mac air and still has a few usb as well. I apologize for the mess in my pictures but look at that resolution it provides nothing like my previous adapter and computer.

For a 2018 MacBook Pro user, this is the ONLY one that separates my 2 external screens independently. All other adapters with 2 HDMI ports can only put out the same signal. So this is the one.

Gave as a Christmas gift to my girlfriend and she loves it. Matches her new 14" MacBook Pro. Feels very well made, have not had the chance to use all the ports yet.

I use this to rub a duel monitor set up with a wireless mouse and keyboard

It quit working 3 months after purchase and best buy would not let me exchange it. Do they really expect people to just buy another one?

Product works as expected, easy to use, plug and play. Quality seems to be good as well. It does get pretty warm with just a monitor plugged in to the hdmi.

These were my 4th and 5th dongles, respectively, for a 2019 MBP. I principally only use the HDMI ports, although wired Ethernet is also often needed too for reliability and a non-Wi-Fi connection, and all the possible problems and vulnerabilities those entail. Adapter #4 already developed a slightly intermittent USB-C, causing brief drop-outs on Zoom, the Internet, HDMI, etc. Most of my electronics accumulated over the decades still works, and remain in superb condition, so it's a bit disappointing that one of these adapters has already gone intermittent. Still, I'm giving the dongle 5 stars as these do travel extensively, and the dongle cable is sometimes under tension (as it's too short to dress the cable when the laptop is on a stand, or is re-positioned for viewing or typing angle, etc.). Targus, if you're listening, I'd appreciate this exact same dongle but with a fully 1-foot long cord, to allow improved routing of the dongle when attached to the laptop, at different angles and positions. This seems to be the common weak point on dongles. There are work arounds, but having it all in the one unit really is more desirable, particularly given the 100W rating (i.e. daisy-chaining dongle or extension cables just to get 1 foot of length, while degrading the signal or power level through extensions). On the other hand, adapter #5 is still fine, and has seen similar, extensive use. Past experience with Targus equipment also factors into my rating, even if that's somewhat subjective for any one, given device. I think most people would be happy with this adapter, if these are the ports you require. This is one device that you might consider an extended warranty, however.

The Targus Dock was excellent and quick to install and work. One thing you should know about this configuration is even though it has pass through power, it does not come with a power supply or cable to power it up. You have to purchase a 100-watt power adaptor and USB-C to USB-C or USB which every end you need for the laptop or computer you are wanting to share monitors with. Excellent that it has 2-HDMI connections.

I have a laptop thats powered by a usb c connection. I was thinking i could connect my laptop's power to the input of this unit, then put this unit's usb c into my laptop and be able to use my 2 hdmi monitors while my laptop stays powered. I got a message on my laptop saying it was slow charging. Luckily my laptop has 2 usb c inputs, so i have my laptop's power cord in one input and this unit in the other. Small inconvenience, but if my laptop only had one usb c port I would be pretty frustrated. If this unit came with its own power cord, it would have been a perfect purchase!

I was looking for a docking station that would allow the hook up for two monitors and expand it across the desktop (three monitors total) and this little docking station got the job done without the need of an additional power source. I’ve purchased previous docking stations in the past they couldn’t expand to two monitors.

Worked very well. Just plug and play. Worth the money when you want to use dual monitors

I wasn’t thrilled about the price tag but looking at other docking stations that charge and use a USB-C with HDMI ports this one was reasonably priced compared to the others that were in the $100’s price range. The only issue I have with it is that it doesn’t charge the computer quick enough it’s a low powered charger and my computer gives me an error saying it would charge quicker if I used the charger that came with it.

Easy to use, excellent quality... zero issues. Highly recommend for multi screen needs.

This docking station is very convenient and easy to use with two monitors. It has 2 HDMI slot for my two monitors. It is space saving and easy to install. Not need of any apps to use it and it also has a card reader.

Best im its class. Plenty of ports and small enough to take it woth you everywhere, not to mention the valie for the price. So far so good, quuality is backed bu the brand name.

Good device, needed this to plu if a few more things. Works very well.

Works great, easy to set up. Wanted something with a small footprint but full function to connect laptop to other screen and devices. Has been reliable so far!
