My only real complaint is that I have to download its software (Display Link) to have it work on my Mac, it keeps a program running in the background and makes it seem like im always sharing my screen, which is only an issue if I try to watch Netflix or something on my Mac because it blacks out the screen while screen sharing

I am able to swap between PC and MAC with no problems. I had to download drivers for the MAC but it was relatively painless. This device only needs one more USB port and would be PERFECT.

There were no directions to help me connect and I had to to go to YouTube. Took me 45 minutes to figure it out. I used it for 2 weeks it stopped and wouldn't stay connected. I returned it and ended buying a small USB C HUB+ 8 in 1 connector for $9.00 and had no problem at all connecting.
