not ver old and case seems to be falling apart....

I have had probably 7 of these, because something keeps going wrong with it. I've had 2 in which the keys came off, several just quit working, and some spring open and sometimes the keys work. Sometimes it types what it wants, and not at all what I have typed. I do like it because of the different ways it will hold my iPad for varying angle viewing requirements. I just wish they made them better. So far, I have not found anything that will hold my iPad like this does, and especially have the backlit keys, handy for night work.

Worked for about 3 months then the plastic broke around the hinge. Manufacture is taking care of it, but shouldn’t have happen as the case was never dropped and lightly used.

The keyboard case has already become loose and unable to hold a standing position after only 4 months of little use. I think it could be repaired, but I'm not capable of doing it. This case was recommended by salesman when he was unable to locate a keyboard case that is usually sold with the I-Pad Pro

Overall the keyboard looks nice, but it adds too much weight. Returned it because it was too heavy for me.

It separated where the top side and bottom side connect

Not real impressed. The original one broke in less than 2 months. I had to exchange it and the new one still has not picked up the bluetooth signal which means another trip back to the store for me.

It is made of rubber and there is a thin strip located next to the on/off button which broke the second day of use. I returned it for another manufacturers product

Flimsy. Not a "protective" case IMHO. May have to get another only because it's under warranty, but if I have my 'druthers' I'd go for Clamcase instead.

This is my second Targums for my iPad. It is not very durable. The twist feature for the screen doesn't last very long. I would not purchase this again.

This case was terrible broke within a very short amount of time. NOT worth the money!

Good protection and keyboard, but no wake/sleep for the pro 9.7. Also, the ipad and case are heavy. Somewhat hard to open and slippery to handle. I like the fact that you can rotate the screen and there are several extra useful keys on the keyboard. Overall, considering the price on this case, it should provide wake/sleep. It seems as though Targus just made a new back for the case that fits the pro 9.7, but didn't want to redesign the keyboard to accomodate the new position of the magnet in the pro. This, to me, should have meant a price reduction. Final verdict: probably will return for a case totally designed for the pro 9.7.

This broke right outside of the 1 year warranty. Plastic at the hinge broke.

I really wanted to love this item. The "feet" that hold the iPad allow it to slip.

the only thing i liked about this case was the swivel screen feature.

I can not get it to bluetooth to the tablet..................

This Targus cover is amazing! Yes, it does weigh a bit more than expected, but it's durable and I am so happy with the keyboard. It also has the ability for the cover to flip and you can use the tablet only, as that is what sold me on this particular cover. I had been looking at others, but when I saw this one swiveled, I knew it was the one I needed and since then it's been fantastic. It's also great because it can charge your phone too! Talk about a BONUS! Especially for travel. It's a great cover, love it, and besides it being a bit "heavy" it's durable and does the job it was intended to do.

First impression is that it is well built and will provide good protection. My particular use though is in the cockpit of my plane providng weather, traffic and charts. Unfortunately when the sun shines on the iPad, with the case covering the back of the iPad it traps the heat, the iPad over heats and shuts off. Not good. There are a couple quirky things as well like how you have to press a few letters before the iPad sees the keyboard and I had to keep turning off the keyboard backlighting. I ended up returning it and buying a cheap cover/case that I could easily remove when using it in my plane and using a separate Bluetooth keyboard I have. I will keep looking for something that meets my needs. It may work very well for most users.
