Customers admire the VersaType™ keyboard case's high-quality keyboard, especially its illuminated keys, and long-lasting battery life. They also appreciate its ease of use, protective qualities, and convenient swivel feature, allowing for flexible viewing angles. A common concern, however, is the added weight of the case. The ability to charge other devices is another feature frequently praised by users.

Not Fully iPad Pro 9.7 ready

I really have been desperate for a good keyboard case for my new iPad Pro 9.7. Thought this one would be the right case since it can do 4 views and had the right cut outs for the flash on the back and the four speakers. However a major disappointment that is right on the front cover of the box is that with the iPad Pro 9.7 only it will not put the iPad Pro in a wake or sleep mode with the cover opened or closed respectively. This was a big no for me. Another feature that was concerning was no backlight for the keyboard and not great battery life at 130 hours.
Again only looked at it for iPad Pro 9.7.

the case is ok, in my option it feels a little on the cheap side for the price. it is all one unit so you can't just detach the screen so its very odd to try and hold it up and all the way open to use the camera. have to remember to turn it on and off from the switch on the keyboard.
i have a zagg slim book that i like much better, you can take the screen off if you'd like to use just the iPad, flip it either way to keep the keyboard attached. don't have to worry about a switch. the only reason i got this was i upgraded to the iPad pro and it didn't have the holes for the top speakers and camera flash, but i ended up just drilling some small holes and it works just fine.

I bought this case with high hopes...it looked like it had everything: back-lit keys, multiple viewing angles, sturdy construction. But those hopes where quickly dashed. The first one broke after two weeks (would no longer hold ipad up, was cracked along the seam). Thinking maybe that one-drop that happened may have weakened it, and might have already been flawed or something, I tried buying it again. It broke, same way, less time. Then I tried a third time. It broke...I might have even bought a fourth one. I even upgraded to the newest model each time (even with price jump) hoping they would have resolved the issue! But no, they didn't. With more than one case, I never even dropped it and it still broke.
Point is, none of these really lasted over a month. I'm a college student so, yes, I used this device a lot for note-taking and such. But believe me, I'm a careful person...Especially when I think my case is fragile and I need it to function as long as possible. I became paranoid about protecting and being gentle with it, simply because I loved the other functioning features.
It isn't worth the headache though. Look for a similar case.

I purchased this item as a christmas gift, it worked great but over the span of 6 months the portion that holds the iPad broke from the keyboard.
