I've been using the Targus VersaType with my 12.9" iPad Pro for a few weeks now, and it's exceeded my expectations. A few highlights: Typing experience: The full-size QWERTY keyboard is genuinely comfortable for long stretches — I wrote an entire lesson plan on it during a flight and never once wished I'd brought my laptop instead. Key travel and spacing feel close to a real laptop keyboard. Versatile hinge: The 360° rotation and 130° pivot make it easy to switch between typing, sketching, and just watching videos. I use "laptop mode" for grading, then flip it to "viewing mode" to prop it up on my desk while I reference a document — no fumbling with a separate stand. Backlit keys: The adjustable backlighting with color options is a small touch, but it's genuinely useful when I'm working in dim conference rooms or on evening flights. I keep it on a low warm setting most nights. Protection: It feels sturdy without being bulky — my iPad has survived a couple of accidental drops off the couch arm without a scratch, and the case still allows full access to the ports, so I can charge without removing it. Battery life: I've only had to charge the keyboard itself once in about three weeks of daily use — the claimed 180 hours really seems to hold up in practice.

I absolutely LOVE this keyboard/iPad cover. It is so easy to use and makes working with your iPad so much easier. The ability to twist it out of the way to use the iPad only is GREAT! The battery on mine (keyboard) lasts for months before having to charge it. It also offers a great level of protection for the iPad itself. I recommended it to a friend and she loves her too!

Great case! Very protective and lightweight. I enjoy the swivel option.

Bought this to use for a work trip instead of using a similar one I got from Apple years ago due to the extra protection and being able to lay the iPad flat within the case which the Apple one cannot do. That being said the keyboard on this was just okay and it didn’t sync up all the time and in my opinion is not worth it. Ended up returning due to that reason

I wanted to like this one, but after just a few weeks my Ipad started falling out. I don't see how it could ever support it now. Had to replace with something else. It's made well otherwise, and protects the stylus well. You also have to charge it seperately.

Great keyboard A little on the heavy I love how it’s easy to set up and use

It’s ok. I love the flip feature and the versatility of the angles it can display in and the fact that it closes and that the case holds the Apple Pencil really well. I hate that it doesn’t hold a charge well. I basically have to keep it plugged in to use the keyboard. There’s no screen protector and no way to use one. The worst part is that the little swivel arms (and I mean TINY) are not big enough to keep the iPad in the case well. They are made of cheap plastic too and I don’t expect it to last long. It’s heavy. So expect quite a lot of weight even though it’s nice and thin. The buttons push too easy, but it’s not uncomfortable. Just takes a bit of getting use to.

Ive used this casing for a year now and I am pleased with the overall design and functionality of the product.

Great product honestly. Good quality. Only reason for the 3 stars is that it is a finger print magnet. And it is very hard to clean the finger prints off without adding even more finger prints in the process.

Just recently purchased this item. Liked the product for it’s easy access to the feel and use of a keyboard with my iPod.

Honestly it was the Best Buy you could make for your iPad. I love the ability to turn the screen in any direction. I am always on the go so feeling that I can literally toss it in my bag and not worry about damaging the device I’d comforting. I love this cover.

Really nice until all of the plastic clips to keep ipad in place broke. Now my ipad just falls out out of case. Very cheaply made for the High price of this item. BIG disappointment.

Absolutely incredible product! A little hard to keep clean, but the functionality is sheer perfection!!! I highly recommend!
