I picked this up during Best Buy's 2017 Black Friday preview sale for $25 instead of the regular $50. I had just picked up a steal on an open box iPad Pro so I was looking for a decent case. First off, Apple decided to not make cases for iPad Pros and instead went the dumb route of spending $40 for a back cover and $40 for a front cover - that aren't connected. I've had good luck with Targus products in the past, so when I saw this on sale for 50% I thought, sure, why not? The outside of the case has a soft, plus leather feel to it. The case also comes with a magnetic clip to keep it closed. This case also supports the Smart Wake function in the iPad as well. The real beauty in this case is that you can rotate the iPad from landscape to portrait while using the case as a stand. This is really helpful for video conferences and FaceTime calls. The case also has a little holder on the rear for your Apple Pencil, which is nice since there's a lot of other cases out there that don't have the feature to cart along what is basically a necessary accessory for any iPad Pro. The only reason I rated it 4 starts is that it adds significant bulk to the iPad Pro. Going from an Apple Smart Case for an iPad Air to this is like going from a coupe to an SUV. There's times where I feel it ruins the aesthetic of the slim iPad Pro, but then again, it offers more protection than the regular Smart Case - so there's a compromise you'll make somewhere. I'm happy with my purchase and I would recommend the Targus VersaView to anyone.

I've been a fan Targus cases for several years now. The functionality of this case for my 10.5" iPad is great. I especially like that I can turn it to both landscape and portrait mode easily. The feel of this one is different than my last few though and is more slippery in my hands. Not a deal breaker, but worth noting for sure. Having something your can grip that won't slide out of your hand would make this 5 stars.

For my previous iPad 2, I own two, I've usually sought out inexpensive options for covers. The under $15 versions worked good enough. But, I really couldn't find the cheaper covers for my new iPad Air 3 that were worth a darn. So, I spent the extra bucks for much better quality by going with Targus. I'm extremely pleased! Solid fit, great protection, plus the magnets keep it firmly closed and automatically turn on and off as you open and close. I'm glad I went this direction, it's very much worth the higher price for the quality you get!

Is functional. Would prefer a added auto shut off function when the cover is closed.

The case seems to be sturdy. The magnetic closure is easy to use and the case stays closed for transporting. The price was good.

I love the Targus IPad Pro case. This is the third case I’ve bought for my new iPad. The thing that is different about the Targus is the frame that encases the iPad is a firm rubbery feeling case as opposed to the hard frames of the other two cases I’ve purchased. It also has slots along the top and bottom for the speakers. Additionally, the case can be rotated from portrait to landscape viewing easily. It is very well made. I think you will be pleased if you purchase the Targus!

I am a minimalist when it comes to my iPad Pro (10.5) and this item covers all my bases. It has bumpers to protect the sides if dropped and the front and back provides excellent protection. The iPad also has the ability to rotate while it is in this case. I would like to note that this has an iPencil flap to keep it together which I love! ❤️❤️

I originally planned on getting the Apple case, but found out that it’s only a cover (no back only a screen cover). This it like a book, has a front and back. It also folds so that the iPad will stand on it’s own in landscape mode. Also it turns off the iPad when you close it, and wakes it up when opened.

I had the UAG case for the iPad Pro 10.5, and loved every thing about it except, it would never stay up when I would watch a movie. It would always slide down eventually. So I found this case and saw deeper grooves to hold the iPad up. Must say, I can hold this in my lap watching a movie, and my cat will rub her head on the iPad and it won’t fall. The other feature I like , is that you can turn the iPad vertically to read magazines newspaper etc. I took one star off, because the Apple Pencil holder didn’t protect my Apple Pencil and it fell, causing damage to the tip. I bought an extra Apple Pencil holder that protects and buckles the Apple Pencil in, and wraps around my case. Other then that I love this case.

This is my 4th Targus case for my iPads purchased from BestBuy over the past 10+ years. It protects the screen without much weight or bulkiness, and the swivel feature is used on a daily basis. Targus has really figured out how to make using the tablets a better experience!

This case is very versatile. Protects your case as well as lets you read on your tablet as it stands up on its side for hands free use. Also, gives you the space to put a keyboard down in front of it. Wish it came in more colors than black and purple. I'd buy more.

The iPad fits nicely into the case, and the case has a quality feel to it. Has many possible adjustments including the ability to rotate the tablet and various tilt viewing angles. It's well padded, although due to this feature, the increased weight of holding the tablet can be a bit much over time. This possible downside is easily corrected though if you keep the tablet on your lap or a table. Finally, the case does have slots that allow for the speakers to play well. In fact, I think the sound is improved since the slots project the sound forward.

This looks like leather on my I Pad and color is so enchacing of rose gold of I Pad, Love that you can stand up I Pad verticle, or horizontial to use with this case. Sometimes a program looks better one way than the other. Love It.

At first I thought it was a bit expensive. ..... but you get what you pay for .... and this case is definitely worth it ... easy to install and very easy to use in all positions. Turns 360 and great for watching movies

I've owned a number of iPad's over the years, meaning I've owned a number of different cases. This case is the best Targus case I have ever owned. It's very solid and feels like it will absorb a fall. Yet the case is light weight and thin. The case sits nicely on your lap and allows the iPad to be spun in 360* easily, without making it impossible to hold the iPad in place on your lap. It's definitely worth buying.

This Targus case is a must if you purchase a high quality Ipad. I am not worried about mishaps and accidents because I fully believe this case will protect my pad. Looks nice and also easy to open and stand.

My friend wanted an IPad case that allows 360 rotation. Fit perfectly and rotation is easy. It is a smart case also, so screen goes black when closed and lock screen appears when opened.

Bought this case for my new iPad pro. Very good quality, has a nice stand so you can watch movies. Protects the iPad pro nicely. Would definitely buy this case again if I need one.

I purchased this case with my 10.5” iPad Pro, and it has served me very well. It took a bit to figure out how to prop the iPad up at all the angles I want (e.g. low for typing, high for viewing) but it does everything I need. The magnetic closure activates the iPad’s auto-wake feature, which is nice, and the magnetic tab folds back and sticks to the back of the case to keep it out of the way when I’m using the iPad. There’s even a spot on the back to store the Apple Pencil, which I look forward to getting soon. Recommended.
