TAXI DRIVER is one of the classic 70s films capturing a vital time and place in New York with some awesome vintage DeNiro and Foster performances. I wish the remaster was a little better, and that there were more bonus features with the cast reflecting on the experience. But overall, such an incredible movie and until they release a 4k, this is the best way to watch it.

This is one came out well before I was born, but I've always heard how amazing it was. I've really enjoyed several of Scorsese's other films, but he really did some top notch work with DeNiro as Travis Bickle. I haven't been able to watch another DeNiro flick since without picturing him as a marine who had trouble readjusting to society. This one is well worth watching, just don't have young kids around.

This 40th anniversary of the classic Scorsese film is the 3rd re-release combining all extras & Mastered in 4K printing as well as including 2016 Tribeca Film Festival 40th Anniversary Q&A (41:56) Even though the AV looks beautiful on this Blu-ray, only downside is that it's not also available on UHD 4k yet.... If you have not seen this film already, buy it right now! One of the masterful films of the legend, Martin Scorsese, and one of the most iconic characters in American cinema. This is a must buy and watch over and over.

This Blu-ray release of Taxi Driver presents Martin Scorsese's masterpiece in stunning HD and it comes loaded with bonus material including multiple director commentaries. Also included in this set are 12 beautiful lobby cards. With this set you get a great movie presented with great picture and sound, great bonus features, and even stunning lobby cards. It's a great set.

This is a gritty film about cab drivers in New York city , And Robert De Niro is a young cab driver who goes on a rampage from all his disgust of city life. When Robert De Niro was young he had many of his better films and roles , and Taxi Driver is at the top of the list, The Deer Hunter, Cape Fear and other films . A very young Jodie Foster and De niro are the main characters of the story, and life in the big city. You really get the feel what it is like in New York city with all the crime ,cars and noise and how the people live. Great Classic film .

The 40th anniversary edition of Taxi Driver is about the same as the collector's edition that came out a few years back. Same 4k restored picture & sound. The main difference is the addition of the Q&A with the cast & crew that took place earlier this year. I have both editions, and I'm very pleased with this one as well.

The 1970's is oft regarded as the greatest decade in American cinema and Taxi Driver is one of the reasons why. This movie is too gritty to really be a stunner on blu ray per se but just so far as a movie goes, you cant really have shuffled off this mortal coil without seeing this DeNiro/Scorsese masterpiece.

I just bought a 4k Ultra HD Blu-Ray player (finally) after I saw one on sale at Best Buy for an astonishing price of only $79.99. I know this is not in 4k, but the picture and sound quality were both great. I have not watched the special features, but I think this is a good deal at $9.99.

It's been a while seen I've seen this gem, and it was just as good today as 30 years ago. What a nice cleaned-up version of a modern-day classic! The packaging and extras also help to make this a perfect fit for any Scorsese fan.

Nothing can be said about Taxi Driver that hasn't already been said, it's one of the 1001 movies you must see before you die. But, the steel book edition is awesome! The fully restored and remastered edition of the film with all the bonus material combined with the great metal packaging is a must have!

This film is an all time classic, I had never seen it before and I picked it up to watch with my younger brother. The copy is great, an excellent copy of the film with utterly perfect audio and video. The case is nice too and it comes with a little book that's really cool too. A must have for any blu ray collection

Life in big city can be liberating for some, but just a high-rise prison for others. DeNiro and an excellent cast capture New York at a gritty time, when the bright lights masked a harsh and unforgiving existence for some of its more vulnerable citizens. Not to be missed.

This is a classic tale of isolation and violence. Presented in perfect clarity and packaged in a sturdy feeling slip cover, along with many featurettes and looks behind the scenes. Including a documentary on the tales of Cab drivers in New York and a Q&A section from Sundance.

This movie captures the filth of NYC in the 1970's. It's a great movie for everyone to watch. If you're a Deniro fan, you have to. If you like good classics, you have to. If you like movies that don't follow conventional standards, you've got to check it out. It's one of the all time best!!

This movie maintains its reputation of being one of the best, most shocking thrillers ever produced. If you want to know why the "Meet the Fockers" dad became a star, just watch this one. But be warned! The themes inherent in the story are not for everyone.

Had to jump on this 40th Anniversary edition because of all the great bonus material. I remember leaving the theater when this was released and feeling the effects of it walking out. The only other movie that caused that at its point in time for me was Easy Rider.

This film is a masterpiece from the cinematic genius, Martin Scorsese. The Blu-ray has great picture and sound and the packaging is amazing; which includes photo inserts. The film itself is a great drama, with a captivating story line and amazing acting done by both De Niro and Foster.

I had actually never seen Taxi Drive but I got this version with all the extra features at such a good price that I couldn't pass it up. I would recommend this for anyone that has either seen the movie and wants the extra content as well as those who have never seen it.
