Queen Adreena is a very underrated four-piece band. Made up of two former members of the band Daisy Chainsaw, Katrina Jane Garside (vocals) and Crispin Gray (guitar, glockenspiel, harmonica) and, for this album, Steve Drew (drums) and Dizzy Q (bass guitar, backing vocals). 'Taxidermy' is thirteen tracks of great listening. Musically, this album is fantastic. KatieJane's lyrics and vocals are terrific, as always. This debut album is better than their next album 'Drink Me' and anything Daisy Chainsaw ever put out. Even the artwork is great. The booklet inside is filled with interesting pictures and snippets of song lyrics. There is another version of 'Taxidermy' out there with two extra tracks but it's a bit hard to find. Also, most copies of this cd can be placed into your computer to watch a video montage by Martina Hoogland-Ivanow. The downside is that it's always too expensive to purchase. But honestly, I'd say splurge and buy it. I highly recommend this album!
