To be perfectly honest, as the temps outside are frigid in January, I haven't yet used it as an air conditioner, but it has performed quite well as a fairly powerful and efficient fan in our weight room. The last two air conditioners we've had in there just weren't powerful enough to prevent me from overheating during my lengthy, strenuous workouts, but this one is just what I needed to cool off our small room. It has a remote, and, though I'm unlikely to need that feature, as I work out right next to the unit, it should be far handier to someone using the device in a smaller bedroom. It also has a number of fan speeds and temperature controls, so it's customizable. Hard to believe I got it at such a great price, but the fact that it is out of season may have something to do with it.

Not bad at all. It gives me zero headaches and just works like it should. Do I like it more than my LG? No. They're both 6000 BTU but there in different rooms and I think my LG cools better but it's hard to tell. Bottom line it's great quality and I would never deter anyone from buying it.

This is a great window unit, but it is very noisey. The lowest setting and the highest setting are about the same decibals.
