Nice and bright, not 4K but also not $500, you get what you pay for, it's big and it works and it's 1080 which is good enough for me. You will need Soundbar or Bose connected for better sound and a big enough stand to fit it.

Originally purchased for screen porch, but it ended up replacing an old 32" flat screen in the bedroom. I like that it has an Ethernet port. I like the picture and the sound is not bad for TV speakers. We use a Google TV Streamer in the living room so having Google TV is a plus. The only real downside to this TV is that the remote is slow. Seems to be a common complaint. It's like "did I press that button or not?...oh! Guess I did.". If you're new to Google TV, you also have to get used to it not having a dedicated button for Pause and Play. With that in mind, if you can live with a lazy remote, I think the TV is a bargain.

I’m really impressed with this TCL 40” Q3K TV. The picture quality is bright and colorful thanks to the QLED display, and everything looks super crisp in 1080p. Setup was quick and easy, and the Google TV interface makes finding shows and apps simple. It’s the perfect size for a bedroom or apartment, and it runs smoothly without any issues. For the price, you honestly can’t beat it!

Depends on what you are looking for?

If you are looking for a great-looking TV that is as cheap as possible, this is it! If you are looking for a great all-around TV, this is not it (you get what you pay for) Pros: Looks Great Sounds Ok (Sounds good for TV, May need to change sound settings for other content (No bass and sounds tiny otherwise), Even with tuning, no bass but sounds miles better) Is of good quality and seems like it will last a while. Has lots of ports: USB Port, Ethernet (Wired Internet), Antenna In, Optical (sound) Out, AV in (adapter), and Headphone out. Cons: The built-in Google TV Smart Interface on this TV is god-awful slow. I wouldn't plan to use it. (We are using a Roku with this TV. The built Google TV interface takes 5 minutes to be usable after starting from a cold boot. (Cold boot means after a full shutdown or power outage) Only 2 HDMI Inputs. Overall, if you are looking for a great-looking TV for casual viewing and already have a Roku or Fire TV Stick or the like, this is a good buy. Better still, if you also have an old soundbar around.
