A little different from your normal tv.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this tv after my 18 month old comparable Samsung fried it’s motherboard. It’s a little different from your normal tv, since it starts in your “roku” homepage. However, once I got everything set up, and the picture settings the way I like it, it’s been excellent. Great picture quality, easy to navigate, and clear instructions. If you’re looking to cut cable, this is a perfect tv. My only criticism so far is that it somehow overcharges the bass in my soundbar. I had to cut the subwoofer and bass down to near nothing to get a clear sound.

Great TV, sharp image and good value...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this as a monitor on my computer and it works great, it is also nice that I can flip it over to Roku for some viewing if I want. Nice sharp picture, easy to setup and very responsive and robust smart features. I also use a 65" TCL as my primary TV in my living room and this is just as feature rich and sharp as that display. Big bonus for TCL across the board is how quick their roku menus and such pop up and respond.

Great value for 4K TV with ROKU!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had several TCL televisions. Some last long with no issues and some of the 24" versions I've had issues. I ALWAYS buy the extended warranty and it is usually reasonable. ROKU has an app for Time Warner/Spectrum cable so it acts as your cable box. No need to rent one. With Netflix and Amazon Prime you are set to go. I also have a mini PC hooked up to it and the quality of the picture is outstanding. I highly recommend the TCL line.

Works great as an affordable computer display!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TCL set to use as a secondary monitor for my laptop. It's very lightweight, but still solid feeling. The panel is sharp and I had no issues connecting it in 'extended' mode to my 2018 Macbook Pro via a USB-C to HDMI 2.0 cable. It runs at native 4K and 60Hz, which looks great from a few feet away. The viewing angle and remote could be better, but all in all it's an amazing value for my purposes.

This TCL Roku is well designed
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We now have 4 TCL Roku TV's and we love them. Love the picture quality, love the Roku software. This was one of the first two. This one only has 3 HDMI inputs including 1 ARC. (2022 model has 4.) Brilliant VA panels with crisp color and uniform brightness. This one is mounted high on a bedroom wall. 43 inches for me is the perfect size for a bedroom. It does get just a little distorted when viewed indirectly from above or below. Nice viewing angles from the sides. Something VA LED screens get knocked for. For a bedroom, if you get it tilted correctly, you will not have a problem. I bought a cheap external 2.0 speaker bar to connect to the TV's optical toslink audio port, but it turns out I didn't need it. The downward pointed speakers are perfect. I also sometimes connect this to my PC as a 2nd screen. The computer doesn't do 4k, and this TV has no problem automatically adjusting to the computers slower video.

Best 43 inch TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good TV and I don't think you can beat it for the money. It looks good, is easy to set up and use and the sound is excellent. The ROKU feature is especially good and the built in Wifi works perfectly. The picture and colors are good - I deducted one star because the screen is not as bright as I would like even when set to the brightest mode. I'm happy with the purchase.

Fantastic Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it on sale, needed a small TV, and wanted 4k. It doesn't have cast, but every app you'd want. Most can be setup through web links, so it's quick. Picture quality is pretty darn impressive for the cost of the set. It was the cheapest TV I could find, and continues to impress the more I get it dialed in with filters, and test patterns, but was enjoyable, even straight outta the box.

Great TV for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to use as a home computer monitor for my laptop when I couldn't find a good monitor for sale anywhere. It has worked great as a monitor. The picture is perfect. This is my first truly smart TV - I.e. that has Roku built in. I have Roku units on my other TVs but I actually like having it built in. I don't think you can go wrong getting this TV especially at the price.

Great tv for the price
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great tv for the money. Picture quality is good. Tv is easy to use. Sound is average but that is to be expected. I bought a hisense after this tv and I had to take it back. My next purchase will be the tcl 5 series in the same size because I loved this one so much

Great Quality for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to get a Samsung but kept holding off due the price. I then started using Best Buy's compare feature and found that this TCL TV was pretty much the same exact TV!!! In fact none of the differences were deal breakers. And since this TCL had ROKU built in, I didn't have to worry about needing extra Hdmi ports. Now there is one thing that I must advise...Five days after purchase, the screen went blood red and images looked like a negative. After freaking out a bit, I checked all cables and decided to change my existing hdmi cable that came with the cable box with a new Monster 4K cable. Since then, I haven't had a problem. Also, I messaged TCL via Twitter to tell them what happened in case this was a previously reported issue, and they got back to me immediately saying that if it happens again, to let them know. So I do suggest that you get a good 4K hdmi cable. In all, the picture is beautiful, sound is crisp, and you get picture options like Theater and Gaming. Plus when you turn it on, you have instant options to watching cable, accessing your gaming system or playing around with Roku. You do have to get use to using the remote to watch cable and the remote that comes with the TV. But that is worth saving about $300 on a TV that is nearly equal in specs to a Samsung. I love this TV and Highly recommend!

Great budget TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, this is a great TV. I love the built in Roku. The interface is really easy to work with. The image is great. No complaints about the tv itself. I would definitely buy another for a different room. I’m only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I’m having difficulty connecting my iPhone. It works with the YouTube app. However, I haven’t been able to find a simple way to cast my phone’s screen without using another device. But, that might be user.

Great TV at a great price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this for my elderly Aunt. 43 inches is the perfect size for her bedroom. The picture quality is very good and the TV is simple to use. Her home uses Spectrum Cable TV but instead of using coax cable in the bedrooms the Spectrum TV signal is wireless and Roku is one of the few smart TVs that the Spectrum wireless TV app is available for. Definitely would buy again.

||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for mother's day of last year and even though my mom did not watch any streaming services much before this tv. Since then, we have used it in the living room and have watched many movies as a family. The sound is decent for the price and the hdr is surprisingly good for the price. Roku is a great perk
