I bought a SONY OLED at the same time and while this TV is very good, I could never say it was even close to what I get on the SONY OLED. But for the price, you cannot beat what this tv looks like and does.

Definitely budget TV so don't expect great Google TV performance. You will get lags/input delays from time to time. Positives though, it uses very little power and it's pretty loud for a small room like a bedroom. Overall good budget buy.

I have had my tv for a little over 2 years and the screen stays an illuminated black when turning it on. I have to keep resetting the tv every time I use it in order to keep a picture. Sometimes it need to be reset over and over to get a picture. After researching this tv , it is a common problem and I guess I was lucky that this problem did not occur sooner, as most complained at the one year mark, which is right when this tv falls out of warranty. I get that this tv is cheap, but never in my life have I had a tv stop working. I will never buy another TCL brand, and I suggest you don’t either.

Struggles a bit with darker scenes, especially if there's people with darker skin on screen. Built in speakers are terrible, definitely get a sound bar or set of speakers. Fine starter TV if 4K is important to you.

OS runs a little slow, but it only does it just after an update. Does connect to Alexa so I turn it on/off and change volume with it, very convenient. Overall, TV is fantastic!

Sound is good , image clarity is as well. Not the best TV but more good than bad

Upgraded from a 32 inch not Smart TV to this 50", LED, 4K, UHD, Smart, Google TV. Remote allows you to control the TV with Voice and even have Google answer your questions. Picture is excellent as well as the brightness and sound. Great mid-sized TV at a great price. Highly recommend.

The price was unbeatable and for the price its amazing. But both ones I have do same things. There will be a black screen that "blips" at the point of choosing the input source. I have to turn it off to get it to work. Several glitches but so inexpensive cant really complain.
