I picked up the TCL Q6 50" during a sale and have been genuinely impressed with what it offers for the price. The picture quality is much better than I expected—colors are vibrant, brightness is strong even in a well-lit room, and the QLED panel makes HDR content look noticeably richer compared to standard LED TVs. Motion handling is smooth for sports and gaming, and the Google TV interface runs fast and is easy to navigate. Setup was simple, and the TV automatically detected all my devices without any issues. The build quality is solid for this price range, and the TV has enough picture modes to fine-tune the look you want. Sound is decent for built-in speakers, though pairing with a soundbar definitely improves the experience. Overall, this is one of the best budget QLED TVs I’ve tried. If you want strong image quality without spending a lot, the Q6 Series is an excellent choice.

A Perfect TV for the Bedroom I recently purchased a TCL 50-inch TV for my bedroom, and I am absolutely thrilled with the performance and value. This TV has completely transformed my space, turning it into the perfect place to relax and enjoy my favorite shows and movies. The picture quality is truly outstanding. The display delivers incredibly vibrant colors and sharp details. I'm amazed at how much depth and clarity there is in every scene. The picture is bright enough to look great even with the curtains open on a sunny day, and the contrast is excellent, making dark scenes look rich and detailed without any washed-out feeling. The built-in sound has genuinely impressed me. The speakers are clear and surprisingly powerful for a TV of this size. The audio fills the room nicely, and dialogue is crisp and easy to understand. For a bedroom TV, the sound is more than sufficient and provides a full, immersive experience right out of the box. Finally, the price point is just incredible. The amount of picture and sound quality you get for what you pay is simply unmatched. It feels like a premium TV without the premium price tag. The smart platform (Google TV) is also very fast and easy to navigate, giving you instant access to all your streaming apps. I highly recommend this TCL 50-inch TV to anyone looking for a superb entertainment experience on a budget. It delivers on all fronts: picture, sound, and a price that can't be beat. It's the ideal choice for any bedroom or secondary viewing area.

I currently own three 43"/50" TCL 4 Series Roku TVs from a few years ago paired with onn Google TV boxes. Compared to those TVs, this one seems about 60% brighter and definitely has richer color saturation. It also has a better build quality, richer/louder audio, and the user interface is more responsive. However, it did present a few negative issues. First, I was not found of the AI image upscaling when watching OTA football broadcasts or grainy black and white TV shows from the 50s. The live TV play/pause interface was very awkward compared to the Roku platform. Finally, there were several minor software issues which I do not experience with my current Roku/Google TV setups. The Apple AirPlay function returned a 1003 error code when I first tried to activate it. It was very difficult to configure my USB flash drive for use with the live TV play/pause. When switching between active apps (e.g., between OTA Live TV, Tablo TV, Youtube, and/or Prime), the apps would hang or would be reinitialized. Finally, it does come with some bloatware which cannot be installed (e.g., Alexa and TCL Home). For me, it is not a keeper. However, others might like this TV.

This is the second TCL TV I have purchased. I took a chance the first time about 8 months ago on a 65” QLED. I was unsure how the quality would be since the price was such a great deal. The employee assured me it was a good TV. He was right. The remote is easy to navigate. The smart features are simple to use. The sound and picture quality are awesome. No sound bar needed!

Pretty nice. I like the interface more than my previous TV that was run through Xumo? My previous tv broke during moving… as usual. Haha. For under $300 bucks I have no complaints. I will say that I had issues getting this thing connected to WiFi. Wouldn’t connect to unlocked WiFi until I typed the password as 000000 Then.. it connected but had issues again… I had to go in manually to update the time and forgot it was still set to manual. So when the tv was turned off.. the time reset back to 2024. Too me a full day to figure it out. Had to turn the time back to auto sync. To me the tv is very bright. Even when dimming it. It’ll light up a small bedroom.

Wonderful TV. I needed a TV for a mobile DJ setup, and I love this for it. My first use was at an outdoor event. TV worked well under a tent - great brightness at this price point. Clear picture, solid features. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with it. All of my other TVs are Samsung or Sony. Still love those, but TCL has won me over.

Wonderful picture, easy to set up and use. This is my second TCL 50" TV and the picture quality is multiple steps beyond my previous TCL 50" which I purchased in 2017. Much cheaper too!

This TCL Q6 is a great upgrade from my five year old 1080p 40”. Love the qled color and the 4k picture quality. I can’t believe this tv has such a low price. Maybe it’s just the upgrade but I’m really happy with this TV. My only problem is when playing 2160P demos on YouTube, It has a bit of a stutter. It’s fine on everything below that, but it doesn’t seem like the 2160P on YouTube. All other streaming apps for movies look Great and the motion is perfect. Other than that, I’m really happy with it and it actually has really good sound, Which I was quite surprised to hear considering the price. I would definitely recommend it.

The tv is really good, definitely an improve from my last tv (it was from 2013). Picture quality is really good, sound quality is beyond what I expected, it’s loud and crisp, I thought I was going to need a sound bar but it doesn’t need it. The only downside is the OS, when the tv turns on it lags for a solid 5 secs trying to load/update all suggestions topics, previous show for quicker access etc. I don’t know if this could be fixed with a cpu upgrade or somehow limit the the cpu load when turning on the tv so it doesn’t lag too much. That’s my only complain about this tv, other than that tv is pretty good for its price

A great tv with great quality! Decent Power for a budget tv, the speaker is very loud and it supports dolby i really am not a tech savvy but the sound is amazing, i mostly use this tv as a gaming tv and its very wonderful i highly recommend if youre tight on budget and want a very nice tv with 1440p 120hz. Also for streaming YT and other streaming apps its much more than enough looks very crisp, my opinion is if you want a high quality tv get oled or qled with native 120+ hz but this is still great

I am very happy with this TV. The picture and sound are great. It has three HDMI ports which is one more than other brands. I was hesitant at first to buy the TCL brand because I thought of it as second tier, but just learned that TCL has emerged as a leader in quality and value over the last decade and it right up there with Samsung, LG, and Sony. No regrets!

This TCL 50 inch is absolutely marvelous. It's nowhere near as big as the original 4K tvs, and it's so inexpensive compared to years prior. The tv is very crisp, picture quality is bright and vibrant. Most importantly it really makes my video games Pop more than before. Huge picture quality jump from a 43 inch 1080p, to a 50 inch QLED 4K. Worth it!

Great picture and easy-to-use for streaming. Ended up buying this product because the Hisense TV I had purchased had shattered screens (2 Hisense TVS) and the TCL TV was NOT damaged. Very Satisfied!!!

Excellent picture quality: it works great for gaming. I exchanged a smaller-screen TCL for the same model, just larger, because I discovered the room I was moving into could handle a larger screen. Never purchased a TCL before, always was a Sony or LG person, but I'm so happy with this purchase and the quality and value. This brand offers a lot more than its price tag might suggest. SOLID.

Good picture quality, good audio, very bright if desired and great looking color saturation when turned up. Haven't had any issues with this TV, definitely worth the price.

It took fifteen years, but power on Samsung plasma TV finally gave out, Besides all these new channel options, also have my Dish satellite hooked up, & even programs shot in standard definition look tons better having more depth & detail than they ever did before. So far I've only found two things that are only minor- TV comes (at least for me) with brightness at highest setting, & that was the first adjustment. Second would be that using the remote the sound will go up real fast if not careful. Otherwise remote is a breeze to use & the picture is excellent.
