Great picture and sound. The Roku platform is so easy to follow. Set up was a breeze. The TV is so streamlined and looks great mounted on the wall.

Great TV. Awesome picture. The only thing I wish was improved is the refresh rate higher than 60 would be better, and a better remote.

I paid full price and have no major complaints about this purchase. The picture quality and interface are excellent for the price. There is a popping sound when playing certain songs on Amazon Music, but I think that’s an issue with the Roku/Amazon music app and not the TV itself as I can play the same songs via other apps and it sounds fine. The Roku interface really is a major selling point on new TVs for me, I’ve used Samsung/LG ThinkiQ/Android and they’re all pretty dreadful compared with Roku’s ease of use and accessibility.

My TCL 55” 6 series failed after 18 months and couldn’t afford this years 6 series so opted for this 5 series. I really enjoy the Roku interface but miss having an RF remote and the picture quality, while very good, it does not compare to that of the 2018 6 series. I’m pretty disappointed but this may be the best TV in the price range. My budget was under $500. Paid just over $400 for this which allowed me to purchase the extended warranty and stay under budget.

For the price, surprisingly good TV. Do not regret this purchase. If you're looking for a low priced but quality tv look no further.

I did my homework on every TV I've purchased thus far. I'm hooked on this TCL brand! I have 50" 4 series and this 55" 5 series, and they have not let me down. We decided to buy the TCL 55” Roku Smart TV because it was easier to navigate. It also was equipped with the latest features the we could not get on our old TV. We opted to pay extra and to get the model that had a sharper and brighter picture. We are very pleased with the size, the picture quality, the ease at navigating the various features. We were able to view our grandson’s College Lacrosse game on our TV!!! We are very happy with our purchase and the price.

Really nice picture for the price. Paired it with tcl sound bar for even fuller sound but without isn’t bad.

Purchased this as an upgrade to an older 2017 model, TV still worked fine but I wanted some of the newer tech. I can tell you the picture quality is definitely an improvement over a couple generations ago. I love the Roku operating system and if you haven't tried it I would say give it a spin. The simplicity is great, I have a couple Roku Tv's and an android tv. I got tired of the Android interface and connected a Roku to it.

I bought this to replace a 13-year old Panasonic 50" plasma (nothing wrong with it, but 480W power consumption on the Panasonic was crazy). Pros: QLED and HDR at this price. Find better...I'll wait. Totally acceptable for gaming (Xbox one x). Cable management built into the legs of the TV. Make sure your stand is wide enough for it. Cons: Not a fan of the Roku interface, (I use a fire stick) but once you have it set up properly it's all good. Viewing angles could be better, but hey, it's not an OLED.

I had my heart set on a Roku TV and saw a TCL TV at a place I was visiting. So I decided to buy one. I was going to buy a Class 4 Series, but I saw the difference in picture quality when they were on the shelf side-by-side. I chose this model for that reason. It works well and is just the size I wanted for my small apartment. It was easy to set up and was simple to navigate. I think I made a great choice.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the picture and connected apps (Hulu, Netflix, Disney +). The remote is really cheap but not a big deal. Packaging was nice. Setup was easy. UI is a little wonky but you quickly go into connected apps so it’s only a minor annoyance. Have this in our master bedroom. Not sure if I would use a a main TV, but I think a lot of people would find this more than sufficient for a main TV. Can’t beat the price for the features it includes!

I have enjoyed the new tv very much. Has a nice picture, good color seems easy to use so far.

I've always purchased Sony HDTV's for myself. However, when a family member needed a new HDTV they said just needed a basic ROKU capable TV mostly for the kids to watch. I offered to buy them one so I did the research and choose the TCL brand for their value and quality. It looks nice, works great and the picture quality is good. They love the ROKU capabilities. I'd highly recommend it for the family.

Great 4K for the price. Under $1000 and HDR 4K, my PS4 set to HDR right away when I first connected to this TV. I also have a Apple TV 4K and the picture is also beautiful streaming as well. My only con, the it took a few tries to get the TV to connect to my WiFi to do the software update. You will need the update before being able to use the TV’s smart features. Once it connected and updated, everything runs great.
