This is the only smart TV you need. The quality of pictures is great and Roku that lets you watch Netflix and Amazon Prime.

I was hesitant to get a TCL. I was not sure of the quality or sound. No fear! I am now buying my mom one for her birthday. I've had this TV for almost 1 year now- still just as new. The colors are so vibrant- white is super white and black is BLACK! The sound is crisp and clear, great for gaming too. When I get up close, no image distortion. No "noise" on the screen when up close either or lines like with my other Sharp TV. Great in bright room too. Does not take up a lot of space. Has all the in-puts and out-puts, HDMI, USB, 4K, bells and whistles I need. I AM VERY HAPPY!

TCL TVs are a good bargain and have good picture quality, but you get what you pay for. This is the second TCL 55” I have purchased. It will be my last. On average, they last about 2 years before they just go out on you. My first one stoped working in about 2-21/2 years. I thought it might have just been a defective tv, so I decided to take a chance on another one because I liked the cost and that it came with Roku already installed. I purchased my second TCL in May of 2019. It is now May 2021. Now the second one has stopped working. That’s not great quality in my opinion. Pay some more for a better quality tv. It will save you money (and headaches) in the long run.

It's a pretty decent TV for the price. Only thing I don't like is the remote. But I can deal with it.

For the price, you can't beat it. Cuts all the cords and the remote is very simple yet perfect for its functionality. You can't go wrong! This is my 6th purchased so far and I recommend it to all my friends. Do your research! For anyone that tries to bad mouth this brand and call it a cheap brand it's totally not. It has agreements with Samsung, blackberry, and HP. It's 3rd among the world's largest TV manufacturers. Do yourself a favor and buy this TV for all your rooms.

Picture, clarity, sound are all really good for the price. For a basic inexpensive, in the basement tv it is perfect.

Easy setup. Very nice picture. Rocu is far superior and easier to navigate then the 'other' system on my Insignia.

After 2 years of ownership, I would not recommend buying this TV without an extended warranty. Yesterday turning channels the screen went black. I went through all the troubleshooting tips and ticks, the screen was still black. Today, I called TCL customer service support and went through the same troubleshooting, screen still black. Long story short here, it's the LCD lighting that has blown. After reading several reviews YouTube, Better Business Bureau, this "black screen" is a known issues with this TV and others. Shame after 2 years of use and $350 spent, the TV done! My 10 year old "42in Insignia that I replaced with this TCL is still working. My tv is out of warranty, so I'm out of luck to get any sort of fix or replacement from TCL. I did try, but they just gave me a "sorry your tv is out of warranty. So, I guess the other 4 TCL TV's I have in my house, will be out of luck too, if they suffer the same issue. Just buy the extended warranty is you decide to buy this TCL TV.

The 55 inch 4K TCL ROKU is a great tv for the price. The built in ROKU gives you a “supercharged” televisión with all your favorite movie and entertainment apps like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and so on. Gaming is also great. Sound could be better. At times I’d have to maximize the volume all the way to 99 because the sound was too low. Other than sound and viewing angle, this tv is definitely great if you’re not trying to spend much on a 4K tv.

I ordered this TV because there is no other 55" TV on the market with as many features and as high quality for anywhere near this price. I did end up returning it to get the next model up, same size, but only because I wanted the HDR and extra features. BOTH TVs are the best value you can get in the 55" range, so if your comparison shopping, stop wasting your time and just buy this or the next model up, you won't regret it, there's nothing better out there unless you want to pay $1000 or more.

Good picture and performance. Like having Roku built in. Easy to navigate and use.
