Bought this TV from Best Buy in July 2018 and it broke today, won't even turn on. Since it's 6 months over the warranty TCL basically told us too bad and blamed it on us. While on the phone with "customer service" we realized the TV was defective because there is no reset button, you can only see the circuit board where the button is supposed to be. We were told the warranty expired so we had to take it to a repair shop. Then to top it off we were basically insulted by the rep. We asked him (Patrick) what brand TV he used and we were told TCL and he hasn't had to replace it because he knows how to take care of his electronics. Not sure how something that is defective gets turned around to we don't know how to take care of our stuff. Incredibly rude and not at all helpful. DO NOT BUY TCL!

Tv works really good and me and my family love it.

Horrible experience with 55” Roku TCL TV. Extended warranty expired 3 months ago. Purchased TV and warranty in FEB. 2021. Only two years old and totally broke. Screen won’t light up. They say most probably a Mother Board. Cost more to fix than to purchase another. Over TCL and Best Buy! We in the past have purchased a lot there. Although I don’t care too much for WalMart, we will go there. Our daughter and my mother in law purchased there about a year before our purchase and their TVs are going strong!

Not bad... has some shaded spots on it... not sure why, doesn’t affect the picture it’s on the edges.. sound is decent.. all in all I guess it’s a 299$ tv.. would I buy again.. probably not

Bought tv 4/19/19 had it in the spare bedroom. Decided today to move it to my man cave. Got it moved turned it on. Lit and up and got stuck on the tcl logo screen. So I called tech support. They walked through the basic trouble shooting. Once that failed I got the “your warranty Expired”. So 14 months, 20ish hours, and the tv failed. Waste of money. Will stick to LG, Samsung, and Sony moving forward. Ridiculous.
