This is our second TCL tv. We were so pleased with the 32" one we bought for our sunroom, that we decided to buy the 56" UHD for our living room. The picture is sharp with excellent contrast and blacks. Its 3 hdmi ports give you a lot of flexibility. We use one for our 4k Roku stick and the e-arc is connected to a nice creative labs sound bar with subwoofer, both of which can be controlled with the Roku remote. The built-in tv speakers are typical- tinny with noticeable distortion at higher volumes. The included Google and TCL apps give you added viewing options. For $250 it's a great deal, even if it only lasts five years. Highly recommend.

I bought this TV as a lightweight budget option for a guest room. Very easy to hang with one person, picture quality is more than adequate and the sound is good. The apps work smoothly. Overall I would recommend.

Purchased two TCL TV models in 2024: This model 55S551G is my 2nd 55-inch TCL Smart TV bought in the last 4 months. I got the best picture quality after using the same settings on both TVs. The first model purchased was 55S450G. There was no lag switching between TV, TCL, Pluto, and YouTube. Using the skip and mute buttons reduce excess commercials. Audio: Bluetooth and WIFI are strong. I use a Wired headphone when the Bluetooth headphone needs a recharge. Both headphones have loud and clear sounds when moving around and come in handy when people are asleep. For audio, the only setting change was from ‘dynamic’ to ‘movie’. Sounds coming through the headphones are better than sounds from both TV built-in speakers. Built-in Shutdown: The TV turns off if I pause a YouTube video and step away. But when you restart YouTube, it returns to the previous video at the point of shutdown. Local TV stations: I was able to get free local TV stations by attaching two old external antennas. I got 12 free channels on the S55 model and 20 free channels on the S45 model. No issues after months of use in 2024. Prices on the S55 model dropped. Newer TCL models are now on sale. I bought the TV furniture stands first and then checked the TVs length, width, and height for ideal fit.

I love the ease of setting up and that it works with platforms like Apple HomeKit and Google home products, and as well as Alexa! It has the Google Android software, so casting is super easy, and it has AirPlay built in, so it has you covered there also. Well built tv that will fit the needs of every consumer. And lastly it has profiles so everyone can make the tv their own!

Very good tv. Great price and has performed well. Throughout its use however, the only issue has been not able to connect to WiFi with username and password WPA authentication. Other than that, it’s been great. Sometimes laggy, but Google TV is way better than Roku, especially with all the apps.

I love my new TV. I recommend it ! I know it's a great deal and I'm so very pleased with my purchase. I should have bought this a longtime ago. I especially love watching sports on it. It's almost like I'm right there at the game watching the action. This tv is very good it good a good tv quality very responsive and very cool menu it has and you can watch you favorite show wt high quality and i got for a deal which was very good.

The purchase I made was a great deal for the price. The television has great quality. I ordered online and pick up at the store. My wait time was not long at all. I would give my purchase a 10 out of 10. Its been a few months since my purchased and I still love it!!! Greatest decision in tv purchase.

This TV, allowed to watch for the comfort of my screen porch all seasons long. Color and clarity is clear and crisp. No sound bar required speeakers loud enough over people talking and normal outdoor sounds. Best purchase for the price.

I’m not a bot. This tv right here is good for the price I swear plus google tv with it is amazing. If you end up getting this you won’t regret it but if not I do suggest getting a tv that comes with “google tv” the set up is quick and the interface/layout of the apps is really nice plus it’s 4k just make sure your streaming plans is 4k if you wanna utilize the full quality of the tv

I’ve had this TV for 1.5yrs and honestly never regretted it. Had zero issues, picture quality is amazing, and the sound? SOOOO GOOD. Volume at 15 is loud and crisp for me! Great to watch TV or play games! Highly recommend!
