This is a great entry level tv at an affordable price. But, you will definitely need to buy a sound bar.

It is a good value for the price. The speakers are below average, but you could easily hook up to a surround sound system to get away from that.

I’m really impressed with this TV for the price. The picture quality is sharp, with vibrant colors and smooth motion — great for movies, sports, and gaming. The brightness is more than enough, even in a well-lit room. Sound quality is decent for built-in speakers, though a soundbar definitely makes it better. The Fire TV interface is smooth, easy to use, and loads apps quickly. Setup was simple and straightforward. The TCL Fire TV is stylish, easy to set up, and has a clear, vibrant picture with smooth streaming for everyday use. The remote and voice control make navigation simple, and most popular apps are built in. The main downside is the Amazon-heavy system which pushes Amazon content and feels a bit restricted compared to more open smart TV platforms. Overall, it’s a good affordable TV, but the Amazon limitations makes the tv not so smart as you are not able to download any additional streaming apps, lost 1 star for that.

The color, performance etc. are excellent with such a low price. Power consumption is a bit little higher ,sound system is normal and there is no really power off button to totally shut down the TV , just standby mode . Another possible concern is it's quality , hope the TV can have a long life with no quality issue. But so far so good.

Easy to setup. Great picture. Definitely would buy again. Perfect for bedroom.

Great TV super color easy set up a better set up then insignia, purchased 2 of them once i was happy with the first i went and purchased the second one i think the only thing i would do is make a better sound system. then i would say this is a remarkable TV

Pretty good tv I wont lie. It’s a good medium to large that fills up wall space, the screen is clear, it gets VERY loud, and controls are whats to be expected with any firetv. I think for what it is it’s better to wait for a sale and get it at the 170-180$ rather than full 200-220$

The TV has a very clear and sharp picture. I have not noticed any motion shudder or lag while watching athletic events. The TV was quite easy to set up. It connects seamlessly to my cable and streaming services. I am quite pleased with this purchase.

I purchased this TV for my garage. I wanted the Fire TV feature. This TV was easy to install on a wall mount and set up. Less than a 1/2 hour and I was in business. I like the features on this TV. Simple and straight forward. The price really made the deal.

it's crazy how much larger a 58in TV looks sitting beside a 55in, but they usually fit in the same spaces, so thanks to TCL for making this...not enough 58in models around. In summary, if you are not super demanding about gaming or HDR, you'll probably like this TV. I also found incorrect specs on TCL's and Best Buy's websites, so I'll try to note those in my review. First, some physical items: this does have 4 HDMI, it does not have a subwoofer, and it does not have 2 sets of mounting points for the feet - stand width is 39in. Appearance of the TV isn't premium, but isn't bad. Picture quality seems strong for a non-QLED; note the box does not list this as HDR-PRO+, but high-brightness and wide-gamut were listed; I looked at some black and solid color screens and didn't really see backlight bleed; screen uniformity seemed great; it seems to have plenty of brightness in SDR, even for bright rooms; color, sharpness, and motion were good after I dialed in the settings Audio is basic, but there are settings for treble, bass, dialog enhancer, and 5-band EQ, so at least you can get the most out of the built-in speakers. FireTV isn't my favorite OS; one of the reasons I can give 5 stars is because I'm using a Roku and don't have to mess with it much; just be aware some have reported slow performance and you must login your Amazon acct to install apps. Also, if you have an infared learning remote, program it at the VERY beginning of setup; later the TCL remote will update itself and switch to bluetooth mode.

My second TCL TV. The best possible choice in a 58" set as purchased at an excellent price $239. I was restricted from purchasing anything larger given the available space. Easy set up. Outstanding picture. Sound ok. I use my surround sound to boost that. The only problem I have encountered is getting my Spectrum TV remote to interface with the TV using the codes provided. Help!

Great picture with equally amazing features. The FireTV is intuitive and fast. Would definitely recommend to anybody in the market for a new TV with tons of features built in.

I like TCL tvs, budget friendly and all features including casting, apple play features available, Quality is good in picture, sound and brightness. I use it for NetFlix, cc camera viewing, desktop monitor.

Phenomenal TV, I use this connected to my PC as a second monitor for watching everything, while I'm working or gaming on my main OLED monitor is 34 ultrawide, the reason I'm giving this such a good review is one the price and two I was able to calibrate this next to my OLED to extremely close image, crazy impressed with the display, keep the back light from 50 to 70 and up the color to 10 to 15, keep everything else normal, turn off all other processing except for HDR enhancer it does work and dynamic contrast if your keep the back light brightness real low it can help the picture pop

I'd say for the price it is, I got a good deal. Picture quality is decent for LED and it's big. The only downside is noticeably slow user interface. I have another TV at higher price point and its much-much faster and doesn't lag.

I replaced an LG OLED with this TCL and I haven’t noticed any difference between the two sets. The biggest difference was the OLED cost 4 tines as much so I am thrilled with this set! I suppose comparing them side by side i would see a difference but no reason to do so as my wife hasn’t noticed a thing except the remote is different.
