Contradictory to the pictures and description listed by Best Buy this tv doesn’t have 2.1 sound. There is no speaker in the back center of the tv. There are also no 2.1 hdmi ports even though they list there are 2. The picture is good for the price but 3 to 5 second delay from pressing settings till the menu appears on a brand new tv is unacceptable. No attempt to make this fraudulent listing correct or make the customer happy. Just an if you don’t like it just return it. The 1st picture is what you get, the second is what they advertise.

This is a great entry level tv at an affordable price. But, you will definitely need to buy a sound bar.

It is a good value for the price. The speakers are below average, but you could easily hook up to a surround sound system to get away from that.

The TCL Fire TV is stylish, easy to set up, and has a clear, vibrant picture with smooth streaming for everyday use. The remote and voice control make navigation simple, and most popular apps are built in. The main downside is the Amazon-heavy system which pushes Amazon content and feels a bit restricted compared to more open smart TV platforms. Overall, it’s a good affordable TV, but the Amazon limitations makes the tv not so smart as you are not able to download any additional streaming apps, lost 1 star for that.

it's crazy how much larger a 58in TV looks sitting beside a 55in, but they usually fit in the same spaces, so thanks to TCL for making this...not enough 58in models around. In summary, if you are not super demanding about gaming or HDR, you'll probably like this TV. I also found incorrect specs on TCL's and Best Buy's websites, so I'll try to note those in my review. First, some physical items: this does have 4 HDMI, it does not have a subwoofer, and it does not have 2 sets of mounting points for the feet - stand width is 39in. Appearance of the TV isn't premium, but isn't bad. Picture quality seems strong for a non-QLED; note the box does not list this as HDR-PRO+, but high-brightness and wide-gamut were listed; I looked at some black and solid color screens and didn't really see backlight bleed; screen uniformity seemed great; it seems to have plenty of brightness in SDR, even for bright rooms; color, sharpness, and motion were good after I dialed in the settings Audio is basic, but there are settings for treble, bass, dialog enhancer, and 5-band EQ, so at least you can get the most out of the built-in speakers. FireTV isn't my favorite OS; one of the reasons I can give 5 stars is because I'm using a Roku and don't have to mess with it much; just be aware some have reported slow performance and you must login your Amazon acct to install apps. Also, if you have an infared learning remote, program it at the VERY beginning of setup; later the TCL remote will update itself and switch to bluetooth mode.

I’m really impressed with this TV for the price. The picture quality is sharp, with vibrant colors and smooth motion — great for movies, sports, and gaming. The brightness is more than enough, even in a well-lit room. Sound quality is decent for built-in speakers, though a soundbar definitely makes it better. The Fire TV interface is smooth, easy to use, and loads apps quickly. Setup was simple and straightforward. This is a great TV. It has a great picture and easy to setup. Just wish the feet were not so far away.

Excellent picture with Dolby Vision HDR. Good HDMI inputs. Poor sound needs external Atmos soundbar. Good Remote controls AppleTV 4K unit too. Size is perfect when upgrading from 50 or 55 inch. Thin screen bezel.

Great TV super color easy set up a better set up then insignia, purchased 2 of them once i was happy with the first i went and purchased the second one i think the only thing i would do is make a better sound system. then i would say this is a remarkable TV

I picked this TV up to replace a set from another “value brand” that once had great reliability but this time barely made it over 2 years. I’ve heard good things about TCL and this set seemed to check all my boxes. I’m about 3 months in and I have zero complaints. Good color out of the box, sharper than my prior (allegedly) 4k set and perfect for general TV, movies and sports.

The TV has a very clear and sharp picture. I have not noticed any motion shudder or lag while watching athletic events. The TV was quite easy to set up. It connects seamlessly to my cable and streaming services. I am quite pleased with this purchase.

I purchased this TV for my garage. I wanted the Fire TV feature. This TV was easy to install on a wall mount and set up. Less than a 1/2 hour and I was in business. I like the features on this TV. Simple and straight forward. The price really made the deal.

Pretty good tv I wont lie. It’s a good medium to large that fills up wall space, the screen is clear, it gets VERY loud, and controls are whats to be expected with any firetv. I think for what it is it’s better to wait for a sale and get it at the 170-180$ rather than full 200-220$
