    Sound is not in sync after a month of purchase, all dialogue is behind, the built in audio delay setting is not able to fix it. the QLED is fine but the TV is faulty when it comes to audio.

    Its getting slow (response) when responding to the remote after several months of using. And suddenly stopped working after 6 months of purchasing

    Streaming services can't process dark scenes.

    I just got back from Best buy because of an issue I’ve been having with this TV since I bought it new at Thanksgiving. Returned it and got a new one and it was doing the same thing, maybe not quite as bad.. In dark scenes my TV seems to have a problem processing the blacks and the whole picture goes brighter and darker even the black bars on top and bottom which is when it only seems to do it when it has the black bars on top and bottom. (Although it did do it slightly on an episode of curb your enthusiasm once, and that doesn’t have the black bars) I first noticed it watching Dune but I have now seen it in a few things and not just HBO MAX. It also does it on the Disney + boba Fett series. It seems to have problems processing streaming services such as HBO Disney and prime. Otherwise I absolutely love the picture. Hopefully we can get this resolved. Maybe it can be mitigated somehow in the settings I would like to know. I’m just wondering if there are other TVs having this problem with streaming services or only TCL’s.. I have small video clips of it doing it but there's no way to upload them. I took screenshots of the video I took to give you an idea of what's going on.

    When the TV is working, it’s great. But it seems there’s a lot of bloat-ware in the android operating system. Also, it will randomly turn off or freeze and the only way to get it working is to unplug it and plug it back in. For a smart tv it’s quite slow. Currently I have the tv plug directly into the router and the internet connection is sub-par. Most other devices averaging 650 mbps.

    Very nice picture. HD is absolutely amazing. Sound could be better especially from such a large TV. I didn't want to mount it on the wall but have had the absolute hardest time finding a stand that fits a TV over 65". Not even a year old, periodically the screen blinks. Still haven't figured out the reasoning or the actual way to make it stop. Suddenly the screen is black. No damage or power issue. Hoping that TCL will be easy to work with in order to have everything resolved.

    I purchased this 75” with not so high expectations compared to some of the higer priced tv’s. Needless to say the picture quality is awesome. If you dont want to spend over 1000 for a nice 75” but still want a great viewing experience, the TCL S546 is the one. Pros: HDR10 is awesome. Black levels deep black without the grayish coloring. Motion handling js decent for this price range. Cons: The Google OS leaves much to be desired so hopefully future updates will fix the slow response. You will need to calibrate the picture settings because out of the box picture settings aren’t the best.

    Great value TV! It is very bright and you get more for the price. I’m amazed that you can get a 75” TV for under $800. Anyway taking off a star since GoogleTV isn’t good at all. Granted it is a fairly new software but I’d rather have Roku. You might have an issue when you connect a streaming box like Roku/Apple like I have where sometimes it takes about 10 seconds to switch to a certain input. I believe that is in GoogleTv since my other TV has roku and it takes about 3 seconds or less to switch to an input upon turning the TV on. Also I can’t adjust the screen area on this TV somehow so when I was watching a show from the Crunchyroll app through Roku, I can only change the aspect ratio and not the screen size area. Weird but hopefull they add that in their settings in the future updates.

    WAS OK as a budget TV, now it's awful after 15 mo

    I'm a long time supporter of TCL TV's and have two Roku 6 series models from 2018 and 2020 (55" and 65") both still working as good as new.. I read reviews the new 5 series (at the time I bought this in 2022) was about on par with my older 6 series based on some of my trusted sites for testing/reviews. I can tell you it is not, by a long shot. First the out of box picture settings are so bad I was shocked.. Then, even after fully calibrating within the advanced settings / white point balance I could onlynage to get a decent picture but still nothing close to my two older 6 series after calibration.. Or even out of the box. My wife and I also hate the buggy/slow Google operating system.. perhaps being only a 5 series the processor is slower? Regardless, after suffering for about 9 months I finally called it quits and bought a roku ultra box to use instead of the Google smart system on the TV. That made a world of difference operation wise, I wish TCL still used Roku on all their TVs. Even with all that, for the price I'd give it 3 stars, that is up until this past month at least. Currently, after only about a year and half of ownershp, the picture quality has rapidly decreased and now almost the entire left half the screen has a permanent purple tint to it /light bleeding.. Very disappointed with the panel quality on this and is the first time I can say I do not recommend a TCL TV, completely regretting my purchase. I will retire this to my office which will get less use and Deal with it til it's no longer usable, which could be 6 months from now at the rate it's been declining. I Have decided TCL is no longer my go to option and I'm now going to give a 85" Hisense U7K a try and hope it will be a better experience. TCL has reallydeclined over the past few years it seems. Sad to see this.

    Picture is great. Interface is slow and annoying at times. It's like they try to cram too much stuff into it without enough processing speed or memory. I like my Roku TV better only because it's faster with less junk all over the screen.

    I love this tv I’ve had it for over a year now and no regrets. The quality is amazing I’m still shocked sometimes on how good it looks. Only slight imperfection I noticed is the black on the tv is still lit up a lot

    Hopefully this review will help anyone who is deciding on a 75 inch TV. I originally bought this TCL/Google TV model 5-Series S546 about a month ago from Best Buy. The picture quality was so clear, no blur, no fuzziness. The one problem I had is when I hooked up my external hard drive via a USB cable to the TV to look at home made videos and pictures, it took about 3-4 minutes to read the files. I returned it to Best Buy within the 15 days return period and had it exchanged for a 75 inch Sony Bravia X80J hoping it would read my external hard drive quicker. This was even worse not only in reading the drive but horrible picture quality. I once again returned it to Best Buy and got it exchanged for a Samsung 75 inch 75AU. It read my hard drive right away but the picture quality was so poor again. No matter the hundreds of times I tried tweaking the picture settings everything was still blurry especially the back ground and even when 2 people are side by side, one would show clear and the other blurry. I returned this TV to Best Buy and exchanged it back to the original TCL I had bought. I could not have been more happier with this TV. Beautiful, crystal clear picture quality, and deep rich colors. Amazingly it read my hard drive quickly too so maybe I did not set up something right with the original TV. Both the Sony and Samsung is around $950.00 and the TCL is $799.00. But I must say, sometimes cheaper is better. This TCL stands tall amongst its competitors and nothing can compare to it for these price ranges and similar TVs. Keep in mind the Samsung and Sony were not a QLED or OLED but the TCL is QLED. Maybe this is what is making the difference with the picture quality. Also, I did not had to touch a single picture setting for it is just excellent straight out the box. I thank Best Buy for providing excellent customer service with hassle free exchanges and picking up and delivering the TV’s at no cost! You guys are great. I finally got back the TV I wanted and would highly recommend this TV to anyone. It is a keeper and it is staying put in my home! Ray.

    picture quality is great only issue is software is buggy when operating google tv tv lags with remote control input and will every once in awhile reset opted to plug in a chromecast with google tv and that experience is far better hoping an update is issued to remedy this

    Seems pretty good so far nact beat the picture for the price.If you don't need 120hz this is great.Go ahead and splurge a little and get a series 5 over the 4.Google tv over Roku all day in my book especially since they stopped allowing private channels.

    If you hqve issues with glare in a sunny room, this is excellent for this price range. The picture quality is great and the use of google is seamless with the google ecosystems. The colors can be adjusted but out of the box still looks great!
