Customers often highlight the outstanding picture quality and brightness of the 75" Class QM8K Series 4K UHD HDR QD-Mini LED Smart TV. Gamers appreciate the 144Hz refresh rate and solid gaming performance, while others enjoy the enhanced black levels and Dolby Atmos support. Connectivity is convenient with the side-mounted input section, but some users feel the bass quality could be improved to reach subwoofer levels.

Superb QD-Mini LED TV at Hard to Beat Price

Fantastic 75 inch TV. Probably the best TV out right now at this price point, especially if you're looking to get near OLED picture quality levels without the downside of OLEDs. I run my TV connected to PC for prolonged periods so I've experienced burn-ins with an OLED TV firsthand. This is one of the main reasons I went with this model. It allows me to have the TV running connected to PC for long periods without the worry about possible burn-ins, especially due to static images like Windows desktop icons, while enjoying near OLED level color/contrast.
Pros:
- Price. The QM8K trades blows (picture quality) with Sony Bravia 9, which is considered the best-in-class miniLED TV, while costing about 50% less.
- Superb colors, near OLED levels, which can be even more dialed in when connected to a PC.
- HDR content looks fantastic and SDR looks great too
- Great contrast/brightness/black levels
- Image quality is great even in a well lit room
- Sound quality is fantastic for a TV
- Fast menu response
- No image burn-in worries
Cons:
- No designated eco-mode settings. I prefer to have this on TVs (like LG and Samsung) so brightness can be dialed down/up quickly.
- Sound is great, however at certain bass frequencies, the speakers will buzz/rattle. Happens very rarely, but when it does, it is noticeable.
- The screen is reflective. Not noticeable at night, but definitely noticeable during the day when there's a lot of ambient light in the room and the viewing content has a lot of dark scenes.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars — Blown Away by the TCL QM8K!
I honestly can’t say enough good things about this TV — it completely exceeded my expectations.
First off, the built-in sound system blew me away. Before even hooking up my soundbar, I tested the TV solo and was shocked to feel the floor rumbling just from the TV speakers! The audio is full, immersive, and powerful enough to enjoy movies and shows without any extras if you wanted.
I’ve got this 75” beast set up in my main living room, which has a lot of natural light from bay windows and open space. Even with sunlight pouring in, the glare resistance is excellent — not quite Samsung level, but still fantastic. What really impressed me is that even sitting at a wide 45–70° angle, the picture quality holds strong, with vibrant colors and deep blacks that honestly make you forget this is a TCL.
The 144Hz refresh rate delivers a buttery smooth experience whether I’m watching sports, gaming, or just navigating apps. The super thin bezel gives it an almost edgeless look, really enhancing the premium feel of the display.
UI is snappy and fluid — no lag, no freezing, just clean performance. Voice control works flawlessly, and I love having both TCL TV+ and Google Free Play built in for tons of free content. That was a must-have for me, and it’s all included with no hassle.
TCL absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one. For the price, the performance and feature set feel like they belong to a much higher-end brand. If you’re even thinking about this model — just go for it. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve had the TCL 75" QM8K Series for a couple of weeks now, and overall, it’s an excellent TV. The picture quality is the real standout here—the QD-Mini LED tech delivers bright, vibrant colors, sharp details, and impressive contrast, especially in darker scenes. Sports and action movies look fluid with minimal motion blur, and the 4K HDR content really pops.
The built-in Google TV system makes streaming simple, with all the major apps and Chromecast support built-in. The interface is snappy and easy to navigate, though sometimes it feels a little cluttered. Sound quality is decent for a TV this thin, but I’d still recommend pairing it with a good soundbar if you want a more immersive experience.
Overall, this is a fantastic big-screen TV with premium performance at a very competitive price.

Amazing TV for movies, sports, and some gaming

[ - Summary and Verdict up-front - ]
The TCL-75 Class QM8K Series QLED with Mini-LED Smart TV comes with all the bells and whistles, utilizing Google TV Smart OS (like many other TV brands, such as Sony, Samsung, etc.), and showcasing an amazing video experience and a reasonable sound experience for everyday TV, movies, and Sports watching. It also does pretty well for gaming, thanks to two HDMI ports that natively support 144 Hz sources (compared to standard 60 Hz). The sturdy plastic-capped aluminum pedestal stand is part of the package, and I love that it's installed in the middle of the TV (with just four screws) as opposed to cheap left-right legs that most manufacturers supply nowadays. I also love the minimalistic backlit remote control; the buttons are backlit so you can see what you’re doing in the dark, and there are dedicated controls for input selection for accessing Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and the ad-supported TCLTV free streaming channels portal (which is mighty awesome by itself; 250+ free, but advertisement-supported TV channels, wow!). The TV tuner works very well (picked up all stations, weak and strong, via my over-the-air antenna I have installed in my attic), and can even pick up NextGen TV (ATSC 3.0) channels (e.g., 4K video, cinematic sound, etc.). NextGen TV is already live in a growing number of television markets. (Note: A new antenna will not be needed to receive those signals.) Connections are located on a side-mounted input section and include four HDMI ports (one with eARC and two HDMI 2.1 with 4K 144Hz support), an optical digital audio output, an RF antenna, two type-A USB ports (one 3.0 and the other 2.0), and Ethernet (also has built-in WiFi).
Verdict: You can't go wrong with this one. Very highly recommended, 5 stars.
[ - My thoughts on Video Quality - ]
This is a well-made, stunningly beautiful, and bright (5,000 nits!) QLED (Quantum Dot Technology) - Mini-LED TV that does perfectly fine in well-lit and dark environments. I compared this TV to my Sony OLED TV, and I must say, the video quality is pretty close to OLED. The colors are vibrant, bright, and the blacks are solid and black as they are supposed to be and "halo-free", thanks to TCL’s Halo Control System. Running various tests, I can attest there was virtually no sign of backlight blooming, wow! Pictures look equally good from a range of viewing positions (upfront, and sides, not much difference), thanks to an Ultra Wide Angle feature, which means that family and friends can gather around the screen and everyone will experience the same picture quality regardless of seating positions. It features support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) sources, such as Dolby Vision (warmer colors), HDR10+ (cooler colors), but also HDR10 and HLG, typically provided through streaming boxes (such as Apple TV), Blu-ray players, and TV signals (as far as HLG is concerned). I did notice darkening of image edges in the corners, in particular when viewing 720p content (we love to watch the Pickleball TV channel) on gray full-field and blue patterns. It was not noticeable much on 4K UHD content. It did not diminish my viewing experience, though. I am still all excited about this TV.
[ - My thoughts on Sound/Audio Quality - ]
The QM8K features relatively good built-in sound, thanks to TLC partnering with Danish luxury electronics brand Bang & Olufsen (B&O), who designed and built speakers. They sound decent but a tad flat/thin, and support Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital+, Dolby Digital processing and pass-through (to a soundbar or AVR). In addition to up-firing drivers on the TV’s top surface, there are dual bass modules (see picture) on the back panel to deliver extra low-end sound. However, it's just not quite subwoofer-level bass, particularly when operated at higher volumes, which causes the TV chassis to vibrate. For an immersive sound experience, movie and concert enthusiasts might want to consider pairing the QM8K with a soundbar or connecting the TV to a home entertainment system. Choose from Speech, Movies, Game, and Night presets, or select the Custom preset to use Bang & Olufsen’s Beosonic feature, which involves moving a cursor between Relaxed, Energetic, Bright, and Warm options. It may take several tries until you find the sonic mix that you like, but I found this feature more useful and rewarding to the ears than the other presets. None of the presets provided a surround sound feel.

A QLED TV that has OLED quality

The TCL QM8K is an outstanding high end TV. This TV is great all around and is perfect for just about any setup. It sports amazing specs that hold up in real world use, such as 144hz refresh rate, up to 5000nits of brightness, local dimming with close to 2000 zones, and a pretty decent built in speaker system from Bang & Olufsen.
Pros
Extremely Bright
Great contrast
Fast and responsive UI
144hz is great for gaming
Google TV built in
Decent Speakers
Bezels so small they might as well not exist
Cons
The stand is pretty terrible, I don't trust it
As for overall build quality, its very good. The TV bezels appear to be metal (maybe aluminum) though I didn't check. It has a silver finish around the front side. The backside is plastic as expected but has cable routing built in which is a big plus for those that want to do wall mounting. It sports 4x HDMI ports (I don't know how many HDMI 2.1, but the 2 I used were), RF Input, SPDIF and Ethernet as well are present.
The screen is glossy on this TV, there appears to be no matte finish on it, which I prefer. That said, the finish on this TV does make it prone to reflections. In a dark room, I can make out my double doors in the kitchen if its bright outside pretty clearly.
The stand is really bad though. Its cheap plastic and it doesn't feel very sturdy. I recommend getting a better heavier duty one or wall mounting. Bumping into my entertainment stand causes this thing to wobble an uncomfortable amount, so I'll be replacing it.
The speakers are pretty good for being built in. I have a surround sound system, so I didn't use them much, but I checked them out and they would be passable if I didn't.
This TV sports what TCL calls Zeroborder Tech. What that essentially is is a very small bezel that is about 4mm in width around the TV that makes it so that its barely noticeable. Its a nice feature, though the silver of the aluminum makes its stand out in darker scenes if the room is lit. I wish it had been coated, but its a minor thing.
The picture quality on this thing is pretty great once you get it dialed in. I wish that TCL would calibrate these screens before sending them out, because without tuning its pretty mediocre, but once you get it dialed in it really pops. The settings menu has so many options so that you can tune this to your liking that its easy to get lost in. Two features that I found that really helped, especially with how lighting may change in your room is Dynamic Color and Adaptive Color Temperature. These two really helped out in 28 Years Later, where the picture just seemed very flat. Turning these on added some much needed vibrance to the movie.
The black levels on this are really good. I'd say competitive with OLEDs. I can still tell that its not OLED when I really want to, but its very close. My last QLED TV from Samsung had really bad blooming and backlight bleed (even though its QLED), this does not, at all. The high number of zones really help here.
Google TV is an Amazing addition to the TV. My last TV used Tizen, which resulted in a limited selection of Apps (No Kodi for instance) and it was extremely sluggish at times. This TV is really responsive and has all the apps I need.
Finally the controller. Its a little bulky, but it feels nice and the keys are backlit. It doesn't support USB charging or ambient light charging like my last TVs controller did so thats a drawback, but its decent enough.
Overall I'm very happy with this TV. I really wanted an OLED TV, but because my kids have a terrible habit of just leaving the TV on, it doesn't work for my situation. This TV is a nice compromise that makes me not miss OLED while also offering extreme brightness that an OLED can't pull off which helps with my sometimes bright living room.

TCL - 75" Class QM8K Series 4K UHD HDR QD-Mini LED Smart TV with Google TV (2025)
The TCL QM8K is one of their flagship models - top of the TCL heap, but that still means a good mid-priced TV with lots going for it. The first thing you will notice, or maybe I should say not notice, is “Where is the Bezel?” The bezel is just about non-existent at 0.126 inches (3.2 mm) wide. When you turn the set on it gives the illusion that it is floating over its pedestal mount. It does have a standard VESA 400mm x 400mm setup, so you can use a wall mount that can support its 62.6-pound weight without the pedestal mount. The weight with the pedestal mount is 67 pounds. Overall dimensions are 37.4 inches x 65.3 inches x 2.01 inches (note: that the width of the TV is larger than the specs on the box or advertisement). The height with the pedestal is 38.82 inches, or with a taller setup, it is just shy of 40 inches, and the pedestal is 14.49 inches deep.
Don’t be confused with the QM8K series number, as this is a 4K 2160P UHD HDR QD-mini LED 120Hz display using the new TCL-developed ‘CrystGlow’ WHVA panels. With Quantum Dot color, a premium local dimming light control system, and support for all major high dynamic range formats, including Dolby Vision and HDR10+, TCL states that they are using ultra-reflective optical materials to enhance luminous efficiency by 97 percent and deliver five times the contrast of rival IPS LCD panels, along with a claimed 40% improvement in color saturation. This TCL TV features 'Halo Control Technology', designed to sustain TCL's high brightness levels found in their premium TVs. It also enhances the depth and uniformity of blacks, with particular attention to reducing the halos of light that can appear around bright objects. A new Intelligent picture setting has been added to the picture presets as well. This analysis of incoming images enhances contrast, color, sharpness, and motion to help present the images in the best possible way. This equates to a picture that rivals 4k OLED panels at a much better price point.
Even using the factory settings, you get a good picture, which I only tweaked slightly to enhance my viewing. The colors are very vibrant, and the blacks are as close to OLED TVs as I have ever experienced. When the aspect ratio requires some side or top bands, the black borders fade into the background, and you easily ignore them. Movies, sports, and gaming all showcase great visuals. You can call up a dedicated Game Bar menu screen when game sources are detected. This provides access to multiple gaming aids and information on the incoming graphics. I was impressed with the Green and Red with a Black background, all in the same picture, as greens on some TVs are hard to reproduce. There was no smearing, artifacting, or orphaned bright spots, regardless of whether it was on a high activity game, an action movie, or a sports event. Reflection from the room environment was limited. Even in a dark room with a window featuring reflective slats and bright sunlight, the glare on the TV remained minimal. It's great in a bright room, great in a dark room, and the picture quality remained consistent even when sitting just short of 45 degrees off center, making it ideal for group viewing.
The Audio by Bang & Olufsen built-in speaker system on QM8K series TVs supports Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X. There are some upfiring Atmos speakers on the TV’s top edge, along with dual subwoofers on the rear panel.
The speakers, which include a couple of sizeable circular midrange drivers embedded in the TV’s rear, clearly benefit from much better build quality than those on a lot of TV’s. The general tone of the sound they produce is clean and crisp for embedded TV speakers, and they’re more sensitive than most, ensuring that not even the faintest element in a good movie mix goes unheard.
The result is a highly detailed, bright, and clean soundstage that extends beyond the edges of the TV’s bodywork without losing cohesion or sounding brittle. This is especially helpful for accurately placing score and ambient effects outside the other on-screen sounds, without those effects—including dialogue—becoming displaced or muffled. However, there is no dedicated speaker for good bass, like a quality subwoofer. Still, with a large, beautiful TV as the centerpiece of your entertainment, I believe no TV speaker system can match the performance of a good 5.1 plus surround sound system with a soundbar or a high-quality home theater setup. For the true cinema experience, you really need a full sound system.
The TV has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 support. It has Ethernet as well, should you want to hard-wire in for the fastest speeds. I has a RF antenna port and two USB type-A portsd. It comes equipped with four HDMI connections; unfortunately, only two are version 2.1 and two are version 2.0 (one of which is an HDMI eARC/ARC). An optical (DIGITAL AUDIO OUT) connection is also included for connecting an optical cable to an external digital audio system. The TV uses the Google TV smart TV platform, and it also features a built-in mic for hands-free Google Assistant voice control. If you don’t want to deal with Google Assistant, other control options include Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. You do have a switch to disable the TV’s front-facing mic, and the included backlit remote has a push-button mic, which is my preferred method for using the Google Assistant
The TCL - 75" Class QM8K TV has relatively low power consumption and uses a two-prong power cord. It is designed with double-insulated power supplies that meet safety standards without requiring a grounding pin. One has to wiggle the plug into place to get a good full connection, as the connector doesn’t just snap in.
Two people are needed to pull it out of the box, place it on a soft surface like a bed or table with a blanket, and then install the included pedestal mount. I made a platform with some cardboard boxes and a banket, as I didn’t want to be moving it around a lot since these types of thin screens can be delicate.

As someone who spends a lot of time in front of a screen, I really appreciate the uncompromising features of the TCL 75" QM8K. Whether it's for watching film, my favorite tv shows and even gaming, it can do it all impressively well. TCL has not only exceeded my expectations but has earned its place among flagship television brands.
Packaging/Unboxing:
This product arrived very well wrapped with plastic and cardboard corner covers to protect it during transit. Unboxing was easy with 2 people but the screen itself has an adhesive screen protector that made it less than ideal to peel off after mounting to the wall. It was so stuck on there that it gave me anxiety while removing it, as I didn't want to harm the screen. Just a fair warning.
Sound by Bang & Olufsen:
The collaboration with Bang & Olufsen is a massive win. The built-in sound system delivers a richness and clarity that you simply don't expect from a TV's integrated speakers. Music, movies, gaming, you name it, The sound output here is phenomenal. It is truly the biggest stand out feature to me. I even say connecting a soundbar or external system is completely unnecessary, though that's personal preference.
Picture Quality:
The picture quality on the QM8K is simply outstanding. The color depth and contrast are close to what you'd find on an OLED panel, a huge step in the right direction for a Mini-LED TV. It's an incredible marrying of deeper blacks and vibrant, accurate colors. The viewing experience is fantastic across the board, from SD to HD, and 4K HDR, the quality is superb. The picture is consistently bright, sharp, and Dolby vision brings everything to life. The bezels are nearly non existent thanks to TCLs Zeroborder tech, making viewing even more immersive than ever.
UI/UX:
Google's interface pairs beautifully with the system UI making it a smooth and pleasant experience. It feels far more polished than what I've encountered on other TV operating systems. Finding content, switching between apps, and managing settings is intuitive and fast, allowing me to focus on what I'm watching rather than fumbling through menus. And it's not bogged down by unnecessary third party applications.
Gaming:
For gamers like myself, I was genuinely impressed by the options offered here. The 144Hz native refresh rate is a huge highlight, making playing games feel incredibly responsive and fluid. It includes 2 HDMI 2.1 ports allowing 4k at upto 144fps. All my past TVs only included one 2.1 port so this allows me to have both my consoles connected without the need to swap the HDMI. This TV also has an exclusive Game Bar, which gives you quick access to all your essential gaming settings. This combination of gamer-centric tools truly elevates the experience to something more like a PC monitor and I commend TCL for commiting to these features. Something not often seen on the current market.
Final Thoughts:
My whole philosophy of TCL has shifted from being just a budget brand, to dominating my living area. While most TVs may excel in one or two areas, the QM8K manages to deliver a premium experience in all areas. For anyone in the market for a new TV, the TCL QM8K should be at the very top of your list.

TCL 4K 75" Class QM8K ~ WOW WHAT A BEAUTIFUL TV!

Received my TCL 75" QM8K Series 4K UHD HDR QD-Mini LED TV and first thing I must say is how extremely well TCL wrapped the shipment! It took a lot of work to remove all the extra packing inside and the shrink wrapping on the outside of the box. It's a very heavy box so having 2 people is highly suggested. I removed all the inside parts including the center stand, screws, booklet, remote and then proceeded with the TV. Had help with all this so that was a plus.
Once we got the nice center stand attached and placed on my wood TV stand I turned it on and started to set up. There is a small white power dot in the bottom center that regulates your remote functions. Google asks you a number of questions and as I already have a Google account it was fairly simple. There were 11 updates that I chose to install. It works with built in Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
I was surprised that right out of the box with factory settings the picture looked pretty awesome! I tend to like a brighter picture and I did decide to choose Dolby Vision IQ for my Picture Mode. You also have a number of different settings including Brightness, Color, Clarity, Motion and the option to apply the same settings to all inputs, if desired. There is a downloadable manual that is convenient but a paper version would have been nice although there is a Quick Guide setup booklet included.
This TCL TV is beautifully made. The bezel is so super thin it looks borderless, showing more of that big colorful screen! There are 4 HDMI inputs including two 2.1 and two 2.0 (one of which is the e/arc), two USB, Optical and an Ethernet. There is no 3.5 audio input or output for wired headphones, etc. but I found the Bluetooth worked flawlessly to connect things I needed. The remote is backlit and has a nice elegant brushed silver finish. It's very simple and easy to use. The TV offers tons of built in apps along with 52GB of memory but because all my passwords and sign in options are already installed on my Roku I decided to plug that in the HDMI. I then hooked up my 4K Blu-ray player.
I proceeded to check out the different setting colors and I cannot believe how deep the blacks looked. Seriously with all the QD Mini-LED backlighting it's so close to looking like an OLED picture. AMAZING colors schemes that really pop right out at you, even if you aren't sitting directly in front of the TV. Brilliant! I was so grateful there was no noticeable blooming on this TV. All the blacks stay black ~ no weird clouds or light areas. The 144Hz refresh rate makes a big difference in all the right ways too.
When I placed my 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray "BACK TO THE FUTURE" disc in the player I was blown away right off the bat. Those blacks were perfect and spot on. The colors were out of this world. I also used my Roku to watch some shows and again, totally perfect, including sound! There are so many different settings on this TV to adjust to your liking. I did add a soundbar that has a subwoofer and 2 rear speakers that was on my old TV but I first listened a lot with the internal Bang And Olufsen's which to my delight sounded really superb too! It's all a matter of your taste but in all honesty I don't feel an external speaker system is needed. If I hadn't already owned mine I wouldn't have bought one.
I am so pleased with this "near OLED look" TCL television and can definitely recommend its purchase! I am very happy with my choice and you will be too!

The TCL QM8K comes packaged like a vault. And I'm sure glad it was because despite being wrapped in plastic, the box came with a big hole right in the middle where the screen would be.
But there is layer upon layer of protection and the tv was in perfect condition.
In the box you get the tv, a 2 part center stand, the remote with batteries, power cord, cable management guides, and a quick start guide.
Taking the tv out of the box is a 2 person job. There is no way to install the center stand without completely removing the tv from the box. Other brands allow you to slide out the center of the bottom styrofoam so that you can install the pedestal while in the box and without assistance.
I decided to wall mount the tv. I was able to attach the mounting brackets to the back of the tv while it was still in the box. The back of the tv has a standard 400 x 400 vesa design. The back is flat so there was no need for spacers. I have a very flat non-tilting mount so I had to attach all cables prior to mounting. Once mounted to the wall there is no room to reach behind and attach more cables. My other tvs all have a recess by the ports which are still accessible after mounting.
I would have liked TCL to provide more room by the ports for that purpose. The tv does lay quite flat to the wall and gives a very nice built-in appearance.
Turning the tv on takes you into the set-up, which was fairly quick and very easy to follow, especially if you have a Google account. I connected the tv to my Google Home app and it seamlessly connected. The Google TV OS is my favorite. It is intuitive and has so many features and access to the Google APP Store.
Out of the box, the picture quality is the best I have seen prior to any adjustments. The picture is very bright, great detail and high contrast. The blacks are black without loss of detail. Blooming is pretty much unnoticeable. The only issue I had initially is that the picture settings come with auto brightness turned on. This caused the picture to constantly adjust brightness from dark to light. This, however, was easily fixed by turning off the auto brightness in the settings menu.
The screen has minimal reflection and should work in rooms with a variety of lighting conditions.
Off angle viewing does not affect the picture until about 45 degrees. We have a large couch and you can sit on either end and not notice any off-angle degradation of the picture.
The bezel is so thin that it seems to just disappear when you are watching. It seems like the picture goes end to end.
The settings menu is vast. The user has numerous options for customizing the picture for each input source or type of programming you are watching.
With 3800 dimming zones and up to 5000 nits of brightness, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR 10+, HDR 10 and HLG, the picture is outstanding whether watching cable tv, streaming Netflix and Prime, or Blu-ray 4k.
There are 4 HDMI ports on the back (1 with eArc for soundbars), 2 USB, 1 ethernet, and 1 optical.
The built-in speakers are by Bang & Olufsen. The sound is customizable with the Beosonic setting. I found these speakers to be the best that I have heard from a tv. However, this is such a premium tv that I think a premium soundbar will give a better overall immersive theater experience.
But I still find myself switching to the tv speakers in certain situations like watching sports.
The remote is also premium looking. It has a silver finish, it is easy to grip without slipping and it is backlit. The buttons have a logical layout and have the only 4 presets that you will need (Netflix, Prime, YouTube and TCL free tv).
I do love the fact that you can connect Bluetooth headphones to the tv for a private watching experience.
TCL has a badge along the side of the bezel that says " Premium QD-Mini Led" and that is accurate.
Overall, I am thrilled with this tv. I would recommend it to everyone.

The TCL 75 inch QM8K is beyond awesome. I am starting my review with my impression before all the technical jargon.
The TV in a very nice build, not one piece on the TV, Stand or Remote feels cheaply made.
After powering up the TV and answering a few questions. You log in to your google account via TV or your phone. If you don’t have one, you can create one or by pass this if you don’t. I initially had issues trying to install and sign in to my account on my phone. So I manually did it on the Tv. Once logged in I loaded up all my streaming services and logged them all in. TLC even has their own free channel app already loaded as well as a few more apps preloaded that offer a huge variety of free movies and programs. Once logged in I went through all the picture settings to see which preset best fit our viewing for my living room. There are many modes, such as movie, intelligent, vivid, standard, sports, and filmmaker. Something for everyone or every event. Then I set up the sound. WOW the B and O speaker’s rock!!! So much so I even retired my Bose sound bar and speaker to my other room. The sound is loud, crisp and not distorted at any level. The bass hits hard too and fills the room up with sound. The TV is so big that when things go from one side to the other the sound actually follows it. The modes for sound are game, speech, night, sports, and custom. I love the fact that one the main startup screen they recommend item that eventually learn what I like and offer viewing by simply selecting the option.
Watching movies in different modes (sound and picture) is like watching it again for the first time.
Hooking up a game console or a 4k DVD player is a nice treat to watch movies the old school way.
While watching multiple types of sports there were not streaks or stutter marks that one would see with low refresh rates. I am very impressed with the TV and the Google OS. This is so much easier to operate than my previous LG with Web OS. (Severely limited in what I could do).
I even added the TV with a few click to my nightly google assistant routines for turning on and off each day.
I’m excited to have friends and family visit. So I can show of the new set.
Now for the Technical.
The 75 inch 4k (2160p) TV had HDR, Dolby vision, HRD 10, and 10 +, Hybrid log Gamma (HLG)
The LED Type is Mini-LED Qled with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a motion rate of 480.
Preloaded streaming services included are: Netflix, Prime, Peacock, Hulu, Disney, Both you tubes, Vudu, Google.
The TV works with both Google, and Alexa assistants.
You can screen mirror with airplay or chrome cast.
As far as inputs, there are 4 HDMI, 1 LAN, 2 usb ports, 1 E-Arc for sound bars or systems, Bluetooth and WiFi, Antenna RF input.
The vesa wall mount is a standard 400mm X 400mm
The TV weighs almost 70 pounds so if you plan to mount this, do not cheap out on the stand, buy a quality one and bolt it to the studs in the wall to ensure it is secure.
I would highly recommend this TV to everyone!!

Overall I’m very happy with this TV, it has amazing brightness if you are looking for a TV for a bright room, colors that pop right off the screen, just a beautiful picture overall. I love that the remote is backlit and lights up when you touch it, not just when you push a button. The reason for 4 stars is simply that I’ve see artifacts on the screen when this TV deals with fast moving scenes, specifically when there was a scene with things spinning in circles around the main character. I haven’t tested it with sports to see gore it handles that yet. It does gaming very well in my opinion. I also found the speakers on this TV to be better than most other TVs I’ve had. I would say that the positives way out weigh the negatives with this TV and I do not regret for one minute purchasing it. I did get it on sale for around $1500 for a 75” and at that price I thinks it’s well worth it unless the motion handling is more important to you, than look elsewhere.

This TV is absolutely the finest TV I have ever seen, second to an OLED! The picture is stunning, and it comes out of the box with all those pesky video options turned OFF already, unlike the Samsung trail of demise...
I bought this TV when it was on sale at $1499, but even at $2000 its worth it! The brightness is TOO BRIGHT, so you don't need to worry about sunlit rooms!!! I also paired it with the Sony Bravia 6 3.2 channel soundbar and they work PERFECT together through the HDMI EArc port!
I would not even consider another TV in this price range, it's that good. Not sure what they're using for panels, but they certainly found the nicest one I've ever seen, with exception to an OLED...

This TV is excellent value for someone who doesn't want to drop a much larger sum on an OLED model. Bright and does everything that I need to to get the most out of my Panasonic 4k player. Upgraded from a previous Roku TCL from six years ago and the difference is night and day. Unfortunately Best Buy sent me an open box item as a new purchase, so I did have to return and get a replacement sent. It was a smooth but aggravating experience.
