I saw the 98-inch version of this TV in local best buy store, and I was amazed by its brightness and rich color, so I picked the 85-inch version. We placed the TV in the meeting room of our conference center which is going to be used by clients and partner presentations. From a picture quality perspective, it has all the bold colors and brightness needed to showcase every and all content. We are very video focused organization, so everything played back in meetings needs to look as perfect as possible for people to see. There were no concerns on this TV at all as everything looked pristine. I also like the build quality of this TV. The design is simple and elegant. Kudos to TCL for also pushing the ports to the far side of the TV so we did not have to reach all the way around for switching connections. The sound is also deep and impressive and performs well without any additional sound bars or other speaker attachments. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the performance of this TV. It’s an easy recommendation for virtually all viewing purposes. If I could change anything, I'd go back for the 98" since it was one of the best big screens in the entire store.

I never really heard anything about TCL tv's so I started reading reviews. I found all the reviews had about the same pros and cons. I liked the pros and could live with the cons, plus the price was very inexpensive for an 85" tv. I had Best Buy do the delivery and set up of the tv and sound bar. I'm impressed with the sharpness of the picture, colors and sound. On most movies the pictures almost look like they're in 3D. The tv sound is okay but a sound bar is recommended for rich tones and deep base.

The TCL QM7K blew me away right out of the box. The black levels are shockingly deep for this price range, giving movies a cinematic look without losing shadow detail. Colors feel dialed-in, motion is smooth, and the overall image just looks “right” without tons of tweaking. Gaming is where this TV turns into a monster — VRR, low input lag, and bright HDR make my PS5 look godly. Fast shooters feel incredibly responsive and cinematic games look like they’re running on a much pricier display. For what I paid, the performance is honestly insane. This is one of the best price-to-performance TVs out right now, especially if you want top-tier picture quality and elite gaming features without OLED pricing.

I was hesitant about a TCL product when I originally looked at Samsung's, but after searching the net and reading reviews, I decided my $$ went further with TCL. This TV is freaking amazing. Setting it up was easy, and the OS is simple and easy to use. It is far better than my 8-year-old Samsung, even with all the updates. I'm a very happy guy!!!

I bought this TCL tv for it's features and wow what a great picture. This Qm7k 85in is a monster on the wall. Sound is really good also. Only thing I ran into was when I hooked up direct tv box I had no sound. Turned out I needed an upgraded Direct TV receiver as the old equipment is not compatible with the new technology in these tvs. All and all I am very happy with the tv.

I absolutely love the 85" QM7K! I love the picture for TV, Movies, Sports and Gaming! I can't get enough time In front of It!

Its nice and when i add my surround system i be forgetting not at the theater but i don't like i can't put my spectrum app on it

My husband did alot of research before we purchased this television. We went to the store, and the staff was available and knowledgeable. From the purchase, delivery, and using our Best Buy Plus membership benefits, we were very pleased overall. We have purchased major appliances here and been very satisfied. That's why we came back.

Long overdue TV upgrade. Coming from a 10yo 50" Vizio, to this behemoth 85" 4K is amazing. Bright & crisp picture with great viewing from an angle. Super happy with this purchase.

Great picture! This 85 inch model had broken speakers out of the box and TCL is not helping.

Love it. I wish it was a roku tv. But i will learn to like thia tv anyway.

At first it worked fine. Then after 2 1/2 weeks of owning it. It went out on me the picture that is. So I have a bad taste in my mouth about TCL tv’s. How does a backlight panel go out in 2 weeks

I've owned OLEDs, flagship LED models like the Samsung Q9FN and the Samsung QN90A mini LED. I wanted to go to an 85 inch and the flagship models in the more "premium" brands were just far too expensive. I took a swing on this 85 inch QM7K for $1499 and I don't see how you could beat it for the price. It's every bit as good as my 65 inch QN90A which was a flagship from 2021, but has much better blooming control. Image processing on the TCL can make the way it handles it's brightness a little strange. Sometimes it has excellent brightness on par or better than the Samsung which gets about 18-1900 nits in real content. Other times the TCL seems to be a bit dimmer overall but the contrast, colors, and just overall presentation stack up extremely well with way more wow factor at 85 inches. Don't hesitate, just do it. I doubt there's a better value out there.
