Massive TV, excellent picture. Lots of customization settings. For movies and streaming, very accurate color out of the box if you set the picture to Filmmaker mode and boost brightness setting within that mode to 90 or 100. For program material with DolbyVision or HDR, this unit produces deep blacks, vivid color and spectacular highlights. For sports, Sports mode works well especially if the room has a lot of ambient light. For other casual viewing in a bright room, Standard mode might be preferred, but I leave it on Filmmaker mode for most viewing. Compared to my 65” LG C2 OLED, I find the black levels to be very similar and the color to be about equal, and the HDR highlights are superior on this TCL. The only negative is the TCL's viewing angle; though it's much wider than most LEDs I have owned, the colors do fade if you're sitting far to the side. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase, and the Geek Squad guys did a great job delivering and mounting the TV.

This TV, when viewed in the Best Buy store, was nothing short of jaw dropping. My wife thought it was too big at 98", I disagreed. Eventually, we decided to buy it. We elected to use the Geek Squad team for delivery and installation as the size of this TV required a wall mount. The Geek Squad team did an exemplary job with the install. And they provided great help with showing me how to use the remote control and setting the TV up. I'm very impressed with this TCL QM7K 98" TV. I really cannot tell a difference between this miniled TV and an OLED display. And I had an LG OLED 65" TV since 2018. The blacks are black; and the images are crisp and sharp. The colors vibrant and true. There's nothing not to like! In the short time I have owned this TV, I've watched NFL games, movies, and regular TV. All have been great. Some folks have complained about brightness. Huh? Brightness is fine. In fact, right now, I have brightness set at zero. More brightness hurts my eyes! Very pleased!

Hard but not impossible to give 5 stars on a product nowadays however this thing is pretty awesome! I had been looking at 85’ and 98’ etc… qled etc.. and I saw this one for a few hundred dollars more then the older ones and saw it had Q8 tech which is a little newer and I’m no expert by far or even close on tvs but figured it was worth it. My tv before purchasing this one was a Vizio 70 or 75’ can’t remember but I had it for 7 + years and still do in my mancave. This new tv is obviously 98’ tcl qled Q8 is so Vivid! Colorful! Sound is great! It sits about 12 feet from where we sit. Blackness is also pretty great! Would buy again for sure at $1999.99+ tax when I bought it. Anything under I would consider a really good deal!just be sure to have a few people… Like 4 would be good three would be harder and two almost impossible and one… well no way shape or Form do I see that happening! the TV is as good as the reviews I read before purchasing.. TCL has become a serious player in the large screen arena... miini LED architecture, excellent brightness, contrast and Black screen, rivals QLEDs... only area of improvement would be upscaling older broadcasts... but then again when you put lipstick on a pig... well you get it... i'm completely satisfied with the purchase, value for the money, and installation.... thank you best buy!!

The quality on this TV is fantastic and for the price this TV was an exceptional deal. It isn’t as great as an OLED but it is very close, the blacks are good and vibrant colors really pop. The sound quality is very good also due to the built in subwoofers. Would definitely recommend this TV to anyone shopping for one that is 98 inches and above.

I recently purchased the TCL QM7K from Best Buy and couldn't be happier. The picture quality is absolutely fantastic, with vibrant colors and deep blacks that really make movies and sports pop. It's a significant upgrade! The installation service from Best Buy was also flawless. The Geek Squad team was professional, efficient, and made sure everything was set up perfectly. They even took the time to answer my questions. A great TV and a hassle-free experience—highly recommend both the TCL QM7K and Best Buy's installation service! Coming from an old 50” TV thats 5 years old, anything was going to be a big upgrade and going with a 98” QM7K on sale was the right call. Picture looks amazing for movies, tv shows and sports. You can see dark scenes during the middle of the day without losing much detail or watching new shows like the last of us just pop off the screen. Get 3 friends to help mount it though as it was exciting with 2 people. The sound is only okay, perfectly serviceable but nothing special.

This TCL TV is awesome! Blacks are just that. Colors are sharp and action is fluid. No jitteryness of any sort. Very cool looking TV. 98" of cinematic experience.

Picture quality is super. Better than Samsung/Sony at a good price point. Remote is responsive. The TV is huge. Recommend professional installation. Hope it holds up for a long time.

Was not aware of the TCL "brand", but after researching it and seeing other great reviews (Not a Google TV, but many built-in Google features), we decided to give this product a try. So far, all checks out. Decent sound on its own. A wide variety of settings to enhance the visual experience. Or set it to auto-detect (from gaming, to the nightly news, to a 4K movie). Due to size, I highly recommend researching the wall mount and having a 2nd person present due to the weight. There is some minor glare on the screen, but we knew this would likely be an issue for this 98" screen. Very happy with our purchase.
