I purchased a Vizio a year or so ago with the subwoofer just like this one. I returned it because I was not into it at all. TCL is bombin!

However, if you watch a lot of tv or game a lot and pause for an extended amount of time with no audio playing. The sound bar will shut down and set whatever current volume was at to be the new 0. So if you paused and it shut down and your volume was at 75, you will have to turn it to 100 to be at 25.

GREAT SOUND FOR THE PRICE

I worked perfectly and the sound is excellent. I found that the features are comparable to sound bars that cost much more.

Good if you don't like deep bass

It was very easy to setup and pair with the TV remote. I purchased the soundbar for watching movies and there is no bass at all coming from the subwoofer. I tried several action scenes and no rumble at all. I am considering returning it.

It was connected to a TCL television. The sound was awful and the inability to communicate with my tv was frustrating. I don’t want to spend hours troubleshooting why a sound bar doesn’t work especially if it’s the same brand as my tv which works great. I returned this and went with Sonos.

Really good volume control as well as separation. Con: Wish it had better EQ control. Minor detail - just my ears maybe. Really wish sub had more bass . . . volume ok but not great. Also wish the bass had step frequency controls. All-in-all, pretty pleased with purchase.

I WAS PICKING IT UP ON MY LUNCH HOUR, CURB SIDE, THE WEBSITE WASNT WORKING, I CALLED AND WAS HOLDING FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES AND STILL DIDNT TALK TO ANYONE. I WENT IN AND WAS TOLD TO GO WAIT IN LINE, A SWEET GAL WAS COMING IN FROM DELIVERING CURB SIDE TO SOMEONE, SHE GOT MY INFO, AND WAS AT MY CAR ABOUT 2 MINUTES LATER. THAT IS EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The two work so well together that it feels like you are right in the scene with the actors. The HDMI hookup is a plus so that the sound bar responds to the TV remote. And the IR pass through means that the TV IR remote uses the sound bar IR receiver to pass remote signals through to the TV even though the TV IR receiver is blocked by the sound bar. Smart engineering.
