If you want a good sound bar that has a very good balanced quality sound that has reasonable volume this one is hard one to beat. I know others have said they don’t like the pre sets. I think they are right on

Oddly, TCL did not make this compatible with the volume on the remote as far as I can tell. I do love ROKU so hopefully they put these on other devices soon.

A super addition to our TCL TV

It adds a lot to movies and other programs with special effects. We enjoy watching Sci-Fi and the sound bar with subwoofer enhance the experience. It was easy to connect and has worked very well.

TCL lame system

Sound - very weak. To get any decent sound, be ready to crank to 100. That's kind of lame. Setup - plug and play. Use the Arc on the TV with the ARC on the bar. Easy enough. Aesthetics - meh I don't know if the target audience is for folks that live in studio apartments. But for a decent sized bedroom, this leaves a lot to be desired. Bass - what Bass?

Great with a TCL TV

Only okay

The combination let me go to a single remote control. But the sound is not as good as the Sony soundbar I replaced. At times (I think related to the content being paused for a few minutes), the soundbar loses its mind and the status light blinks red. The fix is easy enough, just pressing the button on top until the status light turns white. Other than that, it is "only okay".

Awesome!

The sub is a little quiet but we have yet to test it with an actual movie. It works with our Samsung tv and it allows us to control the volume with our tv remote.

Nice soundbar, no DTS support

It wasn't until we tried watching BluRays that we found that we couldn't use the primary audio track on our movie. More research found the missing DTS support on all available TCL sound bars. If you're not using it for BluRay/4K, I'd recommend this sound bar, but it doesn't meet our needs. I'm returning it and waiting for the ALTO 9+
