The look without the sound. Not recommended.

Given the non-discounted price, I thought these headphones were going to be decent, especially since they're 'ELIT'. Turns out I was wrong. TCL, known for their great value products, dropped the ball here.
But, let's first start with the positives. The headphones fit nicely (much better than the Sony earbuds they're intended to replace). Construction quality seems solid and they have a very nice aesthetic, with the satin finish surrounding the exterior of the bud itself. Nice job, TCL. One thing to note is that the controls on this pair of headphones is actually closer to the earbud than I'm used to. This brings the microphone much closer to your mouth, which may actually be better for blocking out ambient noise / capturing your voice.
So what's holding this back? The sound. They sound like a cheaper pair of headphones. They lack warmth and dimension. The Sony's and my AKG (headphones that come with Galaxy Note 10) sound much much better. Both have better imaging and a warmer sound. I don't get deep bass notes from this headphone at all...like if feels like someone pushed the treble up to the max on these headphones and turned down the bass.
You may be saying, well what do I expect with a 30 dollar pair (on sale price) of headphones. Well, the Sony's were bought at an Airport vending machine (I needed them in a pinch) and the AKGs are under 15 dollars if you're looking to replace them. So... there's that.
My advice, look elsewhere.
