    Before he was the leading man, Bogart typically played the gangster/heavy and these films are all good examples. By the time the last one was made (All Through the Night), Bogart was still a gangster but working to help the US by uncovering Fifth Columnists during WW2. The Petrified Forest was his best performance in a gangster role. These DVDs are excellent products with subtitles and formatted to retain the original theater aspect ratio.
