Had this model since 2002 and it recently failed. I found no other player to meet the price/features of this one. Purchased the replacement, although not pleased that it just stopped playing.

I had read the reviews online prior to the purchase and had heard about the noise the changer makes, and it did sometimes make noises when switching to a new disc and/or starting to read the table of contents on the new disc. The noise I could put up with. What I could not tolerate was the inability of the Teac to play CD’s consistently. Many times all 5 CD’s in the changer had the “compact disc digital audio” icon and all had been wiped dust-free. Even so, the music would sometimes be halting or skipping, or the changer would not even recognize the next disc and then simply stop instead of skipping the disc and moving on. My wife and I tried for two weeks to see if things would improve, but they did not. Yesterday we took the changer back and ordered a Yamaha CD changer instead. I had originally ordered the Teac product because it had the shortest depth dimension to fit my cabinet. The Yamaha product is a little bigger, so I hope it both fits and works.

WORKS VERY WELL-CHANGES QUICKLY AND SMOOTHLY-WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND

Easily installed by my grandson. Plays beautifully. It was a little bit bigger than its space. But not a problem.

I was disappointed with this product. The sound is good, however the CD skipped most often while playing whether they are brand new or used.

Originally bought an Onkyo; returned it as it was a little too large for cabinet; chose Teac & its perfect

It is just myself, an ole lady, but I love playing my music to clean house--so had to replace my too many moves one that quit. I did it and love that my music is back as good as ever.

Since CDs are becoming history, it is hard to find a decent player. This is a good product at a fair price

Unit is replacement for similar unit and works great with our receiver.

I just got it hooked up and tried it. I put in 2 cd's and they have brought the music back into my life. So glad.

After hookup the disk player had problems playing my old CDs they skipped and some the disk player wouldn't recognize the disk, these disk played fine on my old player,so for the benefit of the new deck I only played store brand CDs not copy's , the deck still skipped but not as bad.I played a full carousel of 5 disk before it was done it started to randomly switching from disk to disk and i couldn't reset the player............ So you know the rest!

Excellent washing machine, a lot heavier than my last front-load machine, so hopefully it will last longer.

Bought this for my parents antique sound system. They enjoy it.

The CD changer is very clean and fully functional. Came with the book and remote and was as described.

Needed a CD player to fit inside entertainment center and this player not only fit but provided great sound quality.

This microphone is perfect for our needs. Easy to use. No background noise or static.
