Came in to store during lunch hour and salesman Josue wasted no time in ordering the product for me. I really appreciated his efficiency and speed. As for the product, the U.S. cable connecting my android to the dac did not function. After connecting with my own usb cable the product worked. The Trac does great job amplifying sound (using Audio-Technica ATH M50x) but sound does get distorted and briefly slows down the audio. Reminded me of a cassette player with a dying battery. Also found it too cumbersome with the xtra cables. Would not recommend.

I am the type of person that thoroughly researches items prior to purchase. I was nearly set on a FIIO when I came across this. The price at Best Buy was $50 less than all other retailers. I am very impressed by not just the amplification power of the device, but also the DAC. I am using this with a 5th generation iPod that is still going strong and the sound quality being produced through the Teac is tremendous. A significant improvement from simply plugging headphones directly into the iPod. Please note, however, I am also using Sennheiser Momentum 2 headphones.
