This is a nice, basic turntable, without all the bells and whistles. Unfortunately, the arm moves to freely when it is in the 'up' position. However, it is nice once again to hear my records without worry of them being damaged by the turntable or stylus.

Wow! Quality turntable. Works just as described! We highly recommend this turntable for anyone that has an LP/45 rpm collection. It's fun to hear your records - the sound is so much different than cd's.

This is a classic line, Teac, that is still relevant in the modern world. If you want to spin your old LPs and 45s (and even 78s) in a classic mode, you'll be very satisfied with this turntable.

I've been looking for a turntable for a long time at thrift stores and garage sales. I took a chance on this one even though it was cheaper Teac as a great name and it lives up to its reputation.

sounds good unless you play it really loud (reverb) what i did is remove the plastic cover on the bottom which causes vibration which echo's into the needle and causes bad reverb. remove the plastic cover on the bottom which vibrates and messes with the sound and you have an a+ sound!!! they should have never put it on or made a steel bottom .

I purchased this to connect with a Teac AI-301DA. The turntable has a preamp if you need it or can be switched off if you don't. It works fine and the sound through the amp is pretty darn impressive. I bought a couple of new vinyl records and it plays them quite well. More older albums will play according to their condition. If you are looking to play some records and you are not an audiophile this one should fit the bill. Has
