This is an excellent turntable for the price. I was really impressed with the packaging. It was easy to set up and looks fantastic. I'm really enjoying playing my old LPs again.

I love the simple yet elegant look of this turntable. It sounds great and performs well. I really like the hinge system on the cover as well, that was one of my complaints and reasons for not buying a project turntable.

Just as advertised, great looks, smooth operation, high quality turntable at a mid point price. Worth the cost. Will upgrade to a better needle but the one included is still very adequate.

I have nothing but praise for this particular turntable. I had wanted (and still do) a Pro-Ject Debut RecordMaster in walnut finish but it is as yet unavailable at BB Magnolia, so...' I ordered this Teac and have zero regrets and it is my belief that neither will you.

Highly recommending it to anyone who is considering purchasing a turntable. I was looking to buy Audio Technica LP120 but Bestbuy has not made an effort to make it available. It's available through Marketplace which I am not trusting. I decided to pay more to buy a TEAC which was a brand I'd never heard before. But I am glad that I bought it. Everything about this device is great. I haven't got any complaints so far. This is manual so the user would have to lift up the arm when playing is complete. This is belt-driven so it's quite, supposedly. Quieter than direct drive models. But I wouldn't really know. It's heavy enough to be stable at 16 lbs. I wish it was much heavier, though. It looks luxurious. The sound is great. Great for regular vinyl listeners like myself. It's expensive but I am hoping this lasts decades so not a big deal.

I replaced a somewhat new AudioTechnica turntable with this one, because I didn't love the sound. I'm so happy with the sound on this one!! Also, it's beautiful looking!

I ended up returning this unit, not because there was anything wrong with it but because I decided I wasn't going to get back into vinyl. I'm just giving this review so I can get the bonus points.

Superb and as with my other 'tables, fun!

In the past year I, like so many others, have rediscovered vinyl. Today I picked up my very first totally manual turntable, the Teac TN-300 in the cherry wood finish. Gorgeous looks and sound! Easy to set up and am on the third side of "Roy Orbison - The Ultimate Collection". Do I think vinyl "sounds better"? Nah! It sounds great but that's also true of CDs and other digital formats. What sets vinyl apart is the feel. Yup. You have to pick it up, hold it place it on the 'table and when it's done, flip it over and do it again! Then there's the gatefold experience to consider. LIner notes, photographs and again, the tactile experience of holding these in your hands is fun. I knew this 'table was manual going in and I will just deal with that aspect. It is worth it. Like my Crosley Keepsake Deluxe, this Teac is a keeper. I highly recommend it to all that want to listen to the music and not obsess about the equipment. The TN-300 is excellent and so is Best Buy.
