Arrived in great shape, baring a loose screw in the bottom of the box. Installed it, and found many loose screws that needed tightening. Found that you must use music CD's or recorded CD's may or may not play in different players. The user interface is simple, but takes a little experience to get recording right. I was disappointed that the 78rpm record stylus was not included with the product. It is absolutely necessary for the protection and quality of sound from 78's. After about 20 hours of use and recording - very happy.

This product works great for converting my Moms LPs to CD for her to enjoy while in the car, iPod or listening on her Bose systems.

On a scale of 1-10, this piece of equipment is a 15! It is SO easy to digitize your cassettes and vinyl. I have done 200 cassettes and over 100 albums so far.

I had some super old cassette tapes and had no idea this equipment even existed for the casual listener. Once I found out, I purchased this and seamlessly converted the tapes to CDs, wn gave it to my parents who had records and needed a turntable. A great buy

I did not hesitate to purchase this product when I needed to convert my records and cassettes to a CD. This brand has been known for over 40 Years. I bought their products since the 70's. It is well made and designed. I find more features every time I use it. Thank you for making such a great product at a fair price.

The digital age moved music to tablets and smart phones. Because of this we no longer had a stereo in our home. Most music is played through our TV or bluetooth speaker. I missed am/fm radio in the home, I missed playing old tapes, records and CD's in the house. As much as I wanted to play my old music, I didn't want to invest in a stereo system with multiple units. My prayers were answered when I purchased the Teac LPR550USBB USB turntable. Now I play am/fm radio and I can record a show to tape if I want. I also get to pull out my old albums and the sound quality is fantastic. My wife played some of cd's the other day. The speakers are just right for our living room and it comes with extra inputs if you want to add additional speakers. My 7 year plays our old Beatles cd's every day and my daughter gets to play her favorite radio stations that we usually listen to only in the car. I haven't try recording records to cd yet but I'm not worried. The Teac is built solid and I'm sure it will record fine. I highly recommend the Teac, it's a family favorite. Oh, and if I need to play music from smart phone, I just plug it into the aux cable.

Got this to copy my favorite LP'S to cd's. Had LP'S that go back many years and when I discovered this unit I was delighted that I could now copy lp's and now listen to them in my car or on my cd player. Need to pay attention to directions on making the transfer as it's not 100 % clear. Once you've done a couple it's pretty easy. The sound it good. One bad thing is you have to use cd's made to copy digital audio, your everyday cd's WILL NOT WORK. A nice thing is after side one is recorded you pause and flip and take it out of pause and recording starts. Once recorded and FINALIZED the disk can be played in any cd machine. Nice!!!

Wonderful product!! Easy, and fun to use! The cd's made from you tube are clear as day!!

This is a perfect machine to convert LP's and cassettes to CD. Recording volume control minimizes distortion from loud recordings. There is a slight learning curve - for example, one can't make the slightest mistake when using CD-R discs or one has to throw the disc away! - but I got over it in due course. Sound quality is adequate. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a way to convert albums to disc.

No problems. Just read and go. Owner's Manual is easy to follow and results are better then expected. Have recorded about 25 Cassettes to CDs with amazing results.

Unfortunately my unit came with a broken dust cover. It appeared as if it was packed for shipment already damaged as no broken off piece was inside box. Please advise if new dust cover can be sent to me.

I love this record player it was easy to assemble and ready to use.

The sound on this is great. There is no static on the radio, the CD player is good and I love it.

Nice to have all these functions in one unit, and at a reasonable price. It would be nice if the speakers sounded a little better. It does what I want it to do so they are ok.
