I love it very fun graphics perfect cool for the price

Great headphones I like that they are not in ear and sounds really good

I like the controls and gameplay but the sound is a little off or something. The races are fun with good powerups and you can buy new upgrades and unlock new characters as you progress.

As a fan of the kart racing genre (Mario Kart, Crash Team Racing, Diddy Kong Racing), Team Sonic Racing holds up really well. I wanted a different kart racing experience on the switch, as I've been playing Mario Kart 8 off and on for about 5 years (between the Wii U and Switch). Team Sonic racing has an interesting concept, in-which you can race on teams of three racers. Your positions are averaged out to give you a worse/better score at the end of every race. I'll admit, I had to turn off the character voices during races - they can get pretty annoying over time.

Sonic All Star Racing was the start of the series, that branched off into the sequel Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed. This was a title by the same developer but not the original team. It adds the mechanic of team racing where unused items can be gifted or requested from team mates. It's a unique addition but not revelatory by any means. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is still the top tier cart racer on Switch (or any console) and this is likely a decent second to that. The game is fun to play and controls well enough, but like Transformed hopefully sees a sequel to add more Sega characters and potentially tranformations like the series offered in the past. So while I can't recommend this nearly as much as MK8D, I can easily recommend it if you own that game and are looking for something else along the same line.

While its no Mario Kart, it plays smoothly and its a lot of fun. The only thing that it has against the game is the difficulty. Later in world 3-4 you can't progress the story without winning those optional ring races that deal with drifting and perfect score. A bit disappointing.

I have all the Sonic racing games and by far this is the best one it's easy to play no matter the age not hard to control great graphics I have it on my Xbox one X and the HD looks great you will no regret this one.

An entire Sonic themed racing game done really well! I love this game and it is so much fun for people who have already played Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U and Switch and really need a new racing world to immerse themselves in! The race tracks looks amazing! Graphics are wonderfully done and a lot is going on in each track from jumping whales to huge waterfalls and flashy lights. The mechanics are overall really well done and for the price I highly recommend this game. Also and amazing addition is that the Sonic characters talk to each other while racing so you’ll hear comments throughout the race either bashing praising the characters racing each other! It makes you feel like they’re much more alive. Only critique I have is that for two of the cups, two race tracks are repeated twice. Wish they’d just come up with two new tracks instead of just recycle two of them twice.

Fun game. Amazing graphics and gameplay and tons to explore in this new racing game. Graphics are top notch this time around too. Controls are tight and not sending you to a premature ending. Pick this up while its on sale. still worth asking price tho.

My son loves Sonic. This game is like a Sonic version of Mario Kart. The gameplay was easy enough for my 7 year old, and he can play as all his beloved sonic characters. Great game for kids and Sonic fans alike.

We’ve only had this a day so far, but here are some initial impressions. This is a bit more challenging out of the gate than Mario Kart, so if you’re getting it for really little ones, you may want to wait. After day one, it doesn’t seem quite as polished as Sonic Racing Transformed which is kind of a bummer because that was a blast. Don’t get the wrong idea, this isn’t a bad game by any means. The racing is fun, and the team racing aspect is a nice twist. The visuals are colorful and all of your favorite Sonic characters are represented well. A must have if you have a Sonic fan in your house!

I grew up with sonic and characters so this game is immediately recognizable to me, the graphics are excellent and the speed of the game is great. Love all the options and tons of characters.

So, as far as the game goes it's fantastic. Looks great, sounds great, plays great and is quite polished. The team mechanic is definitely unique and makes the game feel fresh. But the problem is that Mario Kart exists...and is better in pretty much every way. I knocked off one star because I'm reviewing the Switch version though. On PS4 and XB1 where Mario Kart doesn't exist I'd give it a 5 stars probably. The team mechanic is just too niche to make this game a viable alternative to Mario Kart. All that said, it's still a great game, but if you have Mario Kart you'll only want this if you REALLY love kart racers.

My son loves these types of racing games, and this one didn’t let us down. From characters to game play, this game is great for ages 7-12

This is a fun version of this game. My son enjoys playing it with friends.

Good family racing game. 8 year old was able to use without the help of an adult.

I love Mario, but despite the ups and downs for Sega, I still enjoy Sonic the Hedgehog.
