    AMAZING ALBUM

First off hating on this band just because you are Evanescence fan is ridiculous. I am an Evans fan and i gladly admit i Love We Are The Fallen. Second this band is not them, nor did they ever say they wanted to be them. I for one don't think they sound the same. Even if they do sound the same what do u expect all of the members from Evanescence are now in this band. Third, Carly does not, nor do i think she is trying to sound like Amy!!. She has her own sound and it is wonderful. Last, This album is amazing i got it the day it came out and i am still listening to it, its a great freshman album. Vocals and music go great together, it just works well. Get it and give it a fair chance before u call it a bad album.

If anyone has ever seen/heard this lady (Carly S.) on American Idol, you would know she canNOT sing okay... then FORMER Evanescence band members basically hired this chick to be their front girl or vice-versa, either way, she is A WANNA BE!!! Love the artwork on the cover, but let it go, Carly! You can't be Amy (Lee) Hartzler! I mean, what screams "I wanna be Amy" more than naming your band after an Evanescence song?

We Are the Fallen's "Tear the World Down"

We Are the Fallen, consisting of former Evanescence members Ben Moody, John LeCompt, and Rocky Gray, seasoned bassist Marty O'Brien (Static-X, Disturbed, Tommy Lee, Kelly Clarkson), and American Idol season 7 finalist Carly Smithson, released their debut album "Tear the World Down" May 11th to rave reviews. Gaining mass media attention for the combination of former Evanescence members teaming up with a vocalist from American Idol fame, "Tear the World" down has reached the top 40 on five U.S. charts, four of which are top 20, an two of those are even top ten spots. The album itself combines Moody's trademark "wall of sound" guitar playing and deep lyrics with the soul of Irish rocker Smithson's epic vocals. Mainstream music fans will go crazy for tracks like lead single "Bury Me Alive" and "Without You." The whole album is fantastic, but other great tracks to check out are "Through Hell" and "St. John." We Are the Fallen is taking the world by storm after being a band for only about a year and we are far from done hearing from this talented group of musicans for some time to come.

    Simply Amazing

After hearing Ben Moody's solo album last year I did not have high hopes for this album. But I was blown away. This album is everything and more that I hoped for. Strong lyrics, great music, good variety; while still flowing together well as a single album. To everyone who says it is similar to Evanescence and that is why they don't like it. What do you expect! The people that wrote most of the songs wrote most of the old evanescence songs. At 7.99 this album is a steal. Give the 30 second samples a listen, if you like it you should definitely pick this up!

If you're not already aware, WE ARE THE FALLEN is comprised of members of Evanescence from the " Fallen" cd. This album is well written and produced. The band is tight. They've gone to great lengths to groom Carly Smithson to replace Amy Lee. She's even changed her appearance to mirror her. She does a credible job on vocals. Carly sounds good, but doesn't have the depth or range of Amy. I like this cd a lot BUT, it would have been even better if they'd patched up their differences and recorded these songs w/Amy Lee. Even so, I'd recommend this disc to Evanescence fans.
