I bought it because my current case is "slippery" and I wanted a case with a better "grip" for when I'm travelling or someplace where I could get bumped and possibly drop the phone.

The case for the iPhone 6 fit nice but the case for iPhone 7 does not fit well on the bottom around speakers, it must be from thin material in that area. Overall great case.
