My wife gave this a try instead. It works great to show off the rose gold phone and has full perimeter protection of the edges. I fear that the case material is a little light at the bottom and may eventually tear, the only reason it got 4 stars.

The material is sort of rubbery, which makes it hard to drop. However, I have dropped it several times anyway and it has protected my phone with no repercussions.

Decent case for iPhone

As a gift, it is pretty nice. The impact rating seems good and it’s not too thick. I don’t particularly like that is is a little more flimsy but it’s probably nice if you like that style; I gravitate towards a ultra slim hard case which probably doesn’t offer as much protection as this does.

My iPhone 7+

I had bought one in the pass and had to return it because the phone slip off my hand. I decided to give it another try and I love this one. I've gotten complements. I love how sleek and thin it looks. Doesn't have that bulky look.
