I wanted to like this case so much. The design and color are great and the case itself feels very sturdy. However, I have two issues with it. First, which has already been pointed out, the power button is sometimes impossible to push. I feel pushing the power button numerous times and hard will eventually cause damage to the phone, not to mention it's also quite annoying. Second, I do not feel this case protects the phone adequately. As soon as I put the case on, I felt as if I had to carefully place the phone down because the phone screen itself protrudes from the case, which means if it were to fall on the ground screen side down, the screen would hit the floor and not be protected by the case. I do not want to test this theory and as much as this case has potential, if you really want to ensure your phone is protected, get something different. Unfortunately, I am taking this case back because I found a perfect protective case to replace it.

I tried this "tactical" type of case for my new Galaxy S8 Plus. Overall, it's very snug in fit, and helps the hand grip the phone well. I would think that the product will offer very good protection - BUT - my biggest downside to this product is that it appears the spacing for the side buttons are not carved out well. It was EXTREMELY difficult to press the power and volume buttons. I don't know if this was simply a flaw in the one I obtained, or if this is a design flaw. But after several days of struggling with attempting to push the various buttons through the case, I had had enough and returned the product to the store.

I always buy Tech 21 cases. This one is light, was easy to put on, and seems to be protecting it well. Just as important, the case doesn't hide the phone too much.

My wife decided to purchase the "Tech21 - Evo Tactical Case for Samsung Galaxy S8+ - Black" for her Samsung Galaxy 8+ phone because she liked the feel of the outer case, a nice grip for her, and that the case did not bulk up the phone too much. She keeps her phone in her purse and wanted a more thinner profile case, but one that also did a good job protecting the case from drops.

This case is really great! It's profile is not bulky to add too much to the phone size. I have dropped my phone once in the first 7 days that I have had it and the case worked just as it is described. It has a air cushion affect around the phone. One negative is that the rim of the case is not tall enough to protect the edge profile of the S8+ curved glass. And, the case does not come with a glass protector. You will definitely want to get a glass protector to go with the phone and to supplement the protection of the case. The price of this case is fair to moderate - $34+. Pricey for what it is.

This is a stylish case with great protection. It is slim, and fits well.

I have loved tech 21 products for years now since the iPhone 5s, this case offers rocksolid protection for the galaxy S8 plus. Has great grip and a solid build the puts your mind at ease knowing your phone/investment is safe from any drops. The only glaring issue at least for me is it is very hard to find any screen protectors especially tempered glass screen protector's that will fit this case without the case pushing the screen protector off but other than that if you want a solid case for your phone/investment then look no further .

I have always bought another brand and was recommended this one and love it. It cushions my phone and doesn't get scratched up while doing so. Slim look. Easy on/off, but doesn't slip off by itself.

I love the color of this case, its great protection for my phone, which I always seem to drop, its also lightweight and slim.

Provides great protection for the phone. It also feels great in the hand and does not add alot of bulk to the phone.

So I have had three tech 21 cases and this one seems to be the best so far. I have it on the Galaxy 8+. It's robust enough to handle a drop, but still sleek enough to make the phone easy to use.

I traded in my S7 for the S8+ and in the past I had always used Otter box cases. However I found them to be heavy so I wanted a lighter case but one that could protect my new phone. This does the trick. My only small issue that it is sometimes difficult to push the side buttons all the way in.

Perfect fit for my s8+. Needed protection and didn't want something to bulky or expensive.

It was cheap, and it protects the phone well. The buttons are quite stiff for a while, I suggest pushing them in and moving them around while the case is off to make using them easier. Only real complaint is the odd almost chalkboard like texture on the back.

Good fit for my S8+. It offers some cushioning for drops. Edges are slightly raised to help avoid scratches if phone is laid face down. I would again.

Love my red case. Caught it on sale. Protects well

Owned an Otter Box case on last phone and it was great but bulky. The Tech 21 case is thinner and provides the same protection. Only downside are the buttons on the side; they can be hard to operate.

Works great, fits perfect, dropped phone 1st day on from about 4ft.& it just bounced a couple times and is fine.
