    This case protects my phone but to answer you have to open the case to access the phone, unless you have a blue tooth device. Also when you fold over the case it is often in the way and does not support the phone. It is tough and like I say it protects but you can't put on your belt or anywhere but your pocket.

    The one slot on the flap cover for driver license (or credit card) is all i need and makes this the perfect case.

    I love this case myself and not carrying a wallet. The kickstand feature is great to have and a lot more stable than some others. Have to fold the case up to use the phone in one hand which is somewhat awkward but I've gotten used to
