I like the two piece design and easy access for plugging in charger. I like the protection and how the design allows you to use all the fuctions of the phone with ease. My opinion this is a better design and product than life proof.

Case keeps causing my volume and power button to engage without me actually touching them. But i have dropped my phone and it did protect it without damage

This case provides a good amount of protection just like the other Tech21 products I've used. The holster is a little difficult to use just by feel at first but I think this would get easier as you got used to the release more. My only major issue with this case is with the buttons. The outer shell that has the buttons was so stiff that the buttons would stick and volume and power would continue to be pressed even after you stopped pressing them. This case protection wise I'd rate it comparable with the Defender series from Otter.

Great product that protects the phone. Adds some weight and clips in rather hard but worth it for excellent protection. If not a DIY person have the store personal assemble it.

This case offers good protection which includes decent screen protection from scratches but the volume buttons are now super sensitive. You can hardly handle the phone without changing the volume setting. Compound this with the sleep button being either super sensitive or not working. You have to fiddle with the case on the right side to get it to work right. For the money I expected better performance.

This protects against drops and fits nice too. Good for the price.

I would give this product 5 stars but the only issue I have with this case is the power button. It may not be aligned with the button bc the slightest touch and the restart/power down prompt will pop up, other than that so far is been a pretty good case.

Love this case, it fits snug and protects against drops.

A knock off case don't recommend. IT doesn't fit right just holding your phone or touching anywhere along the sides of the case can activate volume or power buttons really irritating.

This was a fast buy. I went in looking for a case for my new phone, the samsung rep recommended this item. I'm very pleased with the selection.

Easy to use and does great job protecting my new phone.

The side button is too sensitive for me it prompts the reset/power off screen which is annoying to me. If that doesn't bother you then it would be a good case.

My wife talked me into getting a case with the holster and I chose the Patriot, because it had the "bulletproof" glass. I was afraid that it would not be touch friendly, but it works just fine.

To tight, to tight is not the case i need if you press the power increase the volume

This case gives excellent protection against drops and the elements such as dirt and water. The only downside is it mostly hides the pretty blue color of the phone. Still well worth it. I highly recommend it. It's similar to Otterbox and Life proof products, but far less expensive. Great value.

I bought this case for my new S5, and much to my chagrin I need to return it. The case is easy to put on and quite sturdy, but the problem lies in the buttons on the case that correspond to the power/lock and volume buttons. They don't seem to fit right and are quite finicky, often not reading input, or in the case of the lock button, reading a press as a hold and trying to power down the phone instead of locking it. This is unfortunately unacceptable, and an otherwise great phone case is rendered frustrating to use. I hope Tech21 makes a newer version of this case someday since it's definitely well-constructed aside from the button issue

Clip on belt holder broke after 1mos use. Not engineered for multiple clip usage.
