Good product, but .......

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I specifically asked for the Galaxy S9+ unlocked, with no encoded data. Believing that it was actually unlocked, I sent to my intended end user, who lives abroad. She discovered that it was indeed locked, with encoded data that had to be removed before she could use it. She has yet to be able use the phone, as she is unable to pay the approximately $300 to have it decoded and usable where she lives. (As soon as I am able, I will send her the money she needs to render her phone usable.)
