I purchased the product with a 15% discount. I use these to power an old set of Klipsch Cornwall speakers. It works beautifully and with no issues. I had issues with an old tube set overheating. It was a 35w/ch system. The mute function is quite nice as well as the bluetooth function.

    Classic Storyline Adapted Modernly

For all the comic book fans out there, The Judas Contract was a MASSIVELY popular storyline from the 80's at a time where Teen Titans was the top selling comic title at D.C. Comics and this storyline proved why. Fans have been waiting for an animated adaptation of this since 2007 when it was announced but then shelved because it was deemed "too unpopular" to be successful by the studio. This adaptation does update the story and swap out some characters with others, such as Blue Beetle for Cyborg. But this movie fits beautifully into the cinematic universe created and is great fun for fans new and old. If you're a fan of the classic New Teen Titans run of comics from the 80's, you'll love this blu ray as one of the special features is a reuniting of writer Marv Wolfman and George Perez as they talk about their run on the Titans and the legacy they left with the characters. This is a must own for any and every D.C. Comics fan.

then you know what the story is about already. If not, you should find this to be a pretty good movie. I'd already read the comic 30 yrs ago, so the story wasn't new to me; with that said however, I love the art. TT and YJ are DC's best animated movies, with realistic movement in the way the characters are depicted, great action sequences, and excellent sound effects. DC is 2nd to none when it comes to their animated movies, as the characters and stories tend to be geared more toward adults and skew older regarding the intended audience, which is fine with me, as they end up being comics brought to life without the limitations of live-action feature films. Its a movie I recommend for your blu-ray collection, and also recommend seeing. I've seen better from DC, but its no where near as bad as some of their more recent offerings.

Teen Titans was OK for the DC Universe!

Ok when I watch films I do so on a 180" movie theater screen with full 7.1 surround sound and the Buttkicker transducer system. This is not to Boast but to give an idea of the clarity that I rate both 4k and 1080p films. 1st off regardless if you are huge into 4k or still collect Blu-ray; I will add that with today's (Oppo) upscaling technology along with upscaling technology on theater projectors that the difference between Blu-ray & 4k is minimal. I will say that going over 180" that you will likely see a difference and recommend 4k for 150"+ screens. I found the film to be Fantastic (as usual for WB's DC Universe). Even with the large screen the animation is fantastic and you really cant get better voice overs. Why 4 instead of 5 stars? Because its not BATMAN! LOL= Fun watch, worth buying on Blu-ray!

Change in Pace of DCU Animated Flick

I normally collect these DCU animated Blu-Ray/DVD/UV combo box sets just for the inclusion of the "limited edition" mini-figurines or sometimes a mini-trade paperback, related to the packaged DCU animated film but I enjoyed watching this "Teen Titans: Judas Contract" film. The film is modernized with some new team members(Bruce Wayne's son, Damian, R.I.P. in the comics, is a Titan, as well as Blue Beetle). Miguel Ferrer, voice actor of Slade Wilson, AKA Deathstroke, was incredible. Rest in peace, mate! The film follows some of the plot fr. the original "Judas Contract" story fr. Wolfman + Perez's awesome "New Teen Titans" comic from way back in '84. All in all, a nice change in pace for this DCU animated film to step away fr. the routine Bat/Super/Justice League releases bimonthly.

This film suffers the same problem as so many DCAU films: it strives too hard to stick closely to the original material on which it is based, which makes for a lackluster film. Even if you don't know the original story, you know where it is leading, partly because so many other DC media has done similar things with some of its characters. For instance, this storyline has also played out in Young Justice, and it was probably done better there than here. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad film, but there just aren't any surprises. I actually highly recommend the prior DCAU film, Justice League vs Teen Titans. It gives you more character development. I love the Teen Titans characters, and I wanted more from this film.

I am a huge fan of DC animated movies! They've been killin' it lately! Teen Titans: The Judas Contract is no exception. The fight scenes were fun. The character dynamics were great. The chemistry between Beast Boy and Terra was really interesting. I loved Terra's character development. You can really see her internal struggle as the movie progressed. I'll also admit that I haven't been the biggest fan of Damien in the animated movies up until now, but he's starting to grow on me. Damien's character seems a lot more grounded in this film, he's more humanized and interesting because of his developed connection with the Titans. Overall I really enjoyed the film and thought it was a solid effort from the DC animators!

The DC movies have kind of been lack luster since they launched the New 52 in continuity story lines that felt more like they placed emphasis on action over story. This is well done paying homage to the "original" Judas Contract story line even though most fans like myself would have preferred it with the "original characters" introduced in that story. The only complaint is that there is a little snippet of the original team ala New 52 that would have been fun to watch a little more of....overall almost has a Young Justice feel to it...maybe because of the voice actors involved. So, if you enjoyed those Young Justice episodes....you're sure to be pleased with this.

First of all, I am a big fan of all things comics and superheroes! But I really like what DC is doing in these animated movies. This particular movie is splendid viewing. I like the characters in Teen Titans, they add a bit of quirkiness to the story. But this story is amped up a notch. The tension of betrayal and forgiveness is beautifully done. The voice actors include Sean Maher (Firefly) and Christina Ricci (Addam's Family). In addition, this is a package deal, disk, digital, and character. Like most people I need a Blue Beetle on my desk.

This Teen Titans has Nightwing in it so it's gotta be good! :) The Teen Titans once again face off the bad guys but with Nightwing helping them out, things get a bit more complicated. Nightwing and Starfire are finally a couple and the story kind of centers around that, which is nice but it kind of deviates away from the whole story. However, in all of Teen Titan's history, Nightwing (aka Robin) always had a thing for Starfire so this movie version is sort of the grown up version of both Nightwing and Starfire. Overall, it's a good movie if you're a Teen Titans or Justice League fan.

    The Best Titans So Far!

I saw the premiere of this movie at WonderCon in Anaheim, CA. It was AMAZING! I couldn't wait to add the movie to my collection. The story is well done, and the humor was a clever use of innuendo. With that said, this story felt a bit grown up at times, but that is because this movie has a PG-13 rating. It is definitely NOT anything like Teen Titans GO! So, if that is your only exposure to the Teen Titans, be advised, this movie is nothing like that. It's definitely more mature. This latest entry into the DC Animated films is definitely one to see.

I have been a big fan of animated DC since the late 90’s . When Paul Dini and Bruce Timm we’re heavily involved it was all awesome. This is the best DC animated project I have seen since Batman Assault on Arkham . I read the Teen Titans Judas Contract books when I was growing up . In fact I was a year young than Terra when tbe story was originally told so this was a big deal to have this movie !

Got this one not too long after it came out. Heard a few good and a few bad, and decided to take a chance. This roll of the dice paid off in my opinion. To me, it went along closely enough with the books to be followed but original enough to keep it interesting. Like the way they were allowed to bring some original interpretation to an old classic so it wasnt " We've seen this before". It was on my get this when i have enough list. Oh wait I all ready did. Only downside, could have been a little longer.

I really liked this movie, it was a pretty good retelling of a classic story arc from the Teen Titans. There were some minor issues I had but that was more personal taste on the Titans lineup they chose to go with. Also some of the voice actors were not right for the roles but once again that is just personal opinion. But overall I think any Teen Titans fan should at least give the movie a watch.

I first saw this film on the big screen a Wondercon 2017 and liked it so much I had to purchase the Blu-ray - Although the animation is not sophisticated by today's theatrical standards - the story is. There are some adult themes that may to intense for very young children - but for teens it is very thought provoking. Also, if you are of adult age - you will find this film a cut-above a lot of comic-book faire. Definitely a must see - and watch for the surprise cameo at the end...

As the name suggests, this movie focuses on the Judas Contract series of the Teen Titans comics. Brother Blood contracts Deathstroke to hunt down and capture the Teen Titans to be used for a mystic ritual. All of the characters from the 2003 Teen Titans series are in this move. The only exception is that Cyborg has been replaced with Blue Beetle. Overall, it is a great movie. Also the 2 bonus cartoons that come with the Blu Ray version are 2 episodes from the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon.

I'm close to my forties and I still watch cartoons such as Teen Titans. Much so that I even have my children watching it with me. This movie The Teen Titans Judas contract is a great addition to DC Comics. This movie is a much watch that is enjoyed by children and adults has some suggestive content for jokes that are adult appropriate but the kids will definitely get a kick or even laugh out of the jokes that they can actually understand. Overall great movie.

Another awesome D/C animated release. Great story and exceptional animation brings this release to the forefront. Be careful, this has an "R" rating. So be careful with the little kiddies. With that being said, this movie is totally awesome and all future D/C animated movies should be rated "R" too. Even non-animated D/C movies should be to, but that is a whole other review. Get this movie quick because there is a limited number of copies available!

Well at least in their animated movies Warner brothers is dominating. They have a winning streak so far as all their animated films have a serious much more adult theme that fans of DC comics can appreciate and enjoy. Now if only they can direct their live films like the animated ones then it would be a win-win for us all. Plus it has great special features and a couple of old released Teen Titans cartoons and old trailers of their past animated films.

DC and Warner Bros. Animation create yet another great movie. While this is loosely based on a comic story arc you do not need to read the comics to understand the movie. There is some melodrama that I feel did not need to be in the movie, the ending was unfulfilling, and a couple characters who comic fans love were barely in the movie. Overall though the movie was fantastic. It has a DC Rebirth feel while keeping loosely to the comic it is based on.
