wanted my kids to see the originals.

Good First Film, Poor Sequel

Whether or not to purchase this dvd set is up in the air as nothing in terms of bonus features are offered. Although, truthfully speaking, these are two movies that may never warrant the demand of special editions. So, that being said, true fans may just want to go ahead and buy.
