This movie was real good, the turtles are next Generation in this film.

This was an excellent purchase. I would buy it again without question.

Good and fun movie. Megan Fox is beautiful and the story is okay.

First off I'm very thankful the turtles are still mutants in this movie and not the rumored alien origin. Love all the scenes when the turtles are involve. Megan Fox' played April O'Neil very well. The movie could have done well without the Verne character not needed at all. Whoopi playing an editor just didn't fit, didn't find her funny here, character was needed but they could have tried different lines or actress. Lastly the connection between April and the turtles and Splinter works for anyone new to this lore, but as a long time fan its a little hard to accept maybe after a few more times watching it, it might sink in. The technical aspect of the movie is great, picture and sound quality is awesome, haven't look at the bonus features yet. Final comment: Movie is not bad, it is entertaining my wife and kid who's new to this like the movie a lot and wanted to show it to their friends during our twice a month movie night gathering.

I've been a fan of the Ninja Turtles ever since the 1987 Ninja Turtles cartoon came out. Then I saw the live action version of the movie in 1990 and I was disappointed that it didn't feature the turtle van, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady, however I liked the movie which still holds up to this day. Fast forward to 2014 and you get a Ninja Turtles movie that's a lot closer to the 1987 cartoon, however the only thing missing from this movie is Bebop, Rocksteady and Krang. The turtle van made an appearance towards the very end of the film, which is awesome. They also had Vern from the 1987 cartoon played by Will Arnett, which is awesome because I liked him in Arrested Development. They also casted the hottest April O'Neil ever...Megan Fox.

I have to start off by saying that I am not a big fan of TMNT in general, but I found this movie and this packaging to surprise me. I give both the Steelbook 4 stars and the movie 4 stars. The film was entertaining and over the top as it should be. I would have liked it to have a bit more story or depth to it though. The steelbook is pretty well done, however, this is one of many Steelbooks that Best Buy has shipped me damaged or scratched. Poor control of the safety of the product through its transporting. That's all. Good entertainment though.

I didn't have particularly high expectations for this latest revamp of the TMNT's. It was a Christmas gift for my son who was mildly interested. I honestly think his true reason for wanting to see it lies in his 15 year old hormones and Meagan Fox. But I have to say the movie was better than most of the reviews I had read and the few reports I got from people who saw it in the theater. While it was certainly not the best action movie of 2014, it was entertaining and worth the two hour investment. It has a decent story, some funny bits, a couple cool action sequences and Meagan Fox is pretty easy to look at even if her acting isn't all that great.

I've been a ninja turtle fan since the live action movies in the 80's or 90's. In comparison to some of the others, I like the real gritty feeling of the way the characters look. The turtles have teeth and a different shaped mouth because of it. They each show a bit more uniqueness to their mutations. The scenes of them growing up in a sewer look a lot more realistic too. It's not the polished lair you see in some incarnations, full of TV's and refrigerators and modern conveniences that would seriously be difficult to find in a sewer realistically. The whole movie is a lot of fun and I definitely recommend it.

People tend to forget that this IS a kids movie. Despite the people who grew up on TMNT now adults, this movie wasn't made FOR us. But there is still tons to enjoy. The Turtles personalities were perfectly portrayed. A big complaint I see is Shredder's armor, but what I love about the metal suit is that now it gives Leo and Ralph permission to actually use their blades as weapons. Because a kids movie can't exactly show stabbings, in previous versions they were limited to use their weapons defensively, but now against metal armor they can actually use their weapons offensively, which was a nice change.

I love this case. It is pretty durable and opens and closes with little effort. The discs sort of overlap each other and don't fall out or touch each other causing scratches. It comes with two Ninja Turtle masks that have colors on both sides so if you have more than two children wanting the masks, be warned. There are two masks that are simply reversible. I definitely prefer the Best Buy edition Blu-Ray to the other ones that are currently out. Plus Best Buy shipped it so fast that it was here before I realized that it had been released as I had pre-ordered it before the release date was given.

Growing up watching different adaptations of the turtles and not being wild about any of them I was reluctant about this movie in every aspect, but I guess it just shows how far we have come in movie making. The movie surprised me with some good laughter in parts and an ok story..mind you we are discussing talking rats and turtles not Oscar worthy film. It's what I call good mindless fun..sometimes it's nice to not have to think to much or in this case at all..you just take what they give you and go with it otherwise you would not be watching a talking turtle movie, and the CG is very good.

Pretty fun action packed movie for the TMNT line. While the 2 Michael Bay TMNT movies don't rate as high on my personal charts as the original live action movies (nostalgia, eat your heart out), they are still fun movies to watch.

A lot of people have dissed this movie because it's NOT like the "original" trilogy from the 1990's. While that is true, it's STILL just as fun as those films. Just because it's different doesn't mean that it's bad. It's great escapist fun for the entire family. It still has the charm as its predecessors. What's different, in a good way, are the action sequences. They're able to do things in this movie that they couldn't with the animatronic suits in the 90's. As a fan of the TMNT films, this one fits right in with my collection. Truly worthy continuation.

Why people nit picked over the faces of the turtles not being like the comics is beyond me. This is the best live action TMNT movie to date; having grown up with the original movies and cartoon, I have been a turtle fan since the 80's - that was prime time after school TV for me. Also, having owned the entire comic collection, I can say that this is authentic and well done without being over the top. It has just the right amount of camp (which it should) and is visually stunning. Michael Bay is not my favorite person in Hollywood, but he did this justice.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' cartoon was big when I was a kid. I was a fan of the original cartoon as well as the live action films and animated movie. When this film was coming out I got excited. First off let me clear up any rumors about the film. First off, they are not from space. The film is done really well. I loved how they explained their origins. The way they explained them, it made total sense. The film is action packed and the story is well paced. If you are fan of the originals, you will enjoy this. This film is a solid B.
