Although a little disappointed that Shredder barely makes a cameo in this first part of the series, I did enjoy the establishment of the Kraang, which holds a much closer resemblance to the original black and white comic series than the original 1980's-90's TMNT cartoons did. There is a decided anime feel to this CGI series now, which is ok; but it's the humor that remains a staple of the show and a strong one at that. Splinter is actually one of the funniest characters now. It's fun enough that I watched the first episode twice in one day so my wife could see it as well. I'm looking forward to getting the next disc in the series.

My daughter can watch her favorite Turtle heroes anytime she wants! Great for those long trips in the car-keeps her entertained & gives my wife & I some very well deserved peace of mind! Thanks!
