This movie has a great balance of humor and action. You will probably note that the style was a fusion of the humorous tone of the 85 show and the more serious tone of later series and the comics. Note that there is some violence that won't be suited for young viewers.

I saw this on the shelf for five bucks and decided to get it. I grew up with the TMNT movies and have all of them on VHS. So while this doesn't have any super awesome, extended edition, etc. features, it does it's purpose. It's just to have the movie on dvd and nothing else. Aw, memories

As a turtles fan, this is a very enjoyable film and fairly true to the original comics (not 100% but still a very good attempt at a turtles film, and much better than the new Michael Bay flick). Enjoyed by fans who grew up on the turtles as well as a whole new generation of kids that are now growing up with the new Nickelodeon show (which is absolutely AWESOME by the way).

One of my favorite classic movies of all time growing up, so happy to have it once again in a collection

I have always been a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, from way back in the day. It is nice to see that they made a blu-ray copy of one of the best TMNT movies that have been put out. The price was phenomenal and I have no complaints.

The classic 1990 movie on DVD featuring Michelangelo, Donatello, Rafael, and Leonardo. A good movie made at a time when the story and special effects were made to be authentic and not ruined by excessive use of CGI. Great addition to the movie collection.

These movies are still THE BEST turtle movies made to date. Any of the reboot series just cannot compare to how great, not only the story line of these movies are, but the COSTUMES. They don't use bad CGI for the turtles like in the new movies.

I love seeing my son's face just watching this movie considering that this movie was made before his time. It is definitely a great family quality that is worth having.

A classic from childhood that holds up surprisingly well. The turtles battle a clan of juvenile delinquents masterminded by the evil Shredder. It's still fun and I would recommend this any day over the new CGI turtle movies.

I was thrilled to see a copy of the first ninja turtles in store! It was a movie I enjoyed as a kid, and now my son loves them to.I got this one for him so he can see how they've evolved on screen. We watched it before seeing the new one.

I remember watching ninja turtles as a child and fell in love with and i got the same experience watching the blu ray for the first time, very good picture not the best but still beats and previous format releases, highly recommended.

Who doesn’t live ninja turtles? We love this movie I decided to get it for my boys. They watch it over and over again. My son loves Rafael that’s his favorite. Great movie it’s a classic

I could not believe I found this in the DVD bin in the store. I know a big fan of this movie and considers it a classic. You should have seen the look in her eyes when she found it in a bag with card that said "just for you".

I spend months looking for this movie and never even thought about looking at Best Buy. I finally did, and I found the very last one for only $5! Definitely made my son's day when he saw we finally found it!

Great movie! My children loved them and we still have the original figures and the pizza van. Was fortunate enough to take them to see them live in Memphis, Tn years ago. My oldest son is still a BIG Turtle Fan!

Classic. It's an almost straight translation of the comic book (yes, TMNT was originally a comic book). The tone is dark, yet goofy and the fighting is cool. The turtles look way better than they do now (CG = whack). This is a great movie and one of the best comic book movies around.

Pretty excited that I found this on bluray for such a low price. Loved the Ninja Turtles Movie growing up and this was a steal. Great clear picture and a must for every movie collection!

You forgot how amazing this movie is! It still stands up to the test of time. Hard to find and so great to have on Blu-Ray!! This movie is amazing, even if you're not a turtle fan!
