Says it’s for multiple cats; however, there is always clumps left inside the litter and in the rotation barrel. It is frustrating and gross to clean. Try one of the flat self cleaning models instead. The app is also difficult to figure out since the name of the buttons is often cut off, so I have figured it out through trial and error. The paper directions are minimal and not as helpful as they could be.

I can use any kind that you want to but it's not a effective. But other than that it's a great product and great buy. Definitely recommend.

All 3 cats use it with no issue.cleaning is easy does all its supposed to do, thinking about getting another one. After getting thos the cats stopped peeing on the laundry so if thats a problem for you this solved that
