Having bought this on a whim with no prior knowledge of the film whatsoever, I was not expecting anything special from it. Luckily I was very wrong. This movie is, in my opinion, great. The art style for the characters took a little getting used to, but man the scenery is downright amazing. The story itself was surprisingly great as well, getting into far darker territory than I had initially thought it would. A must watch for any fan of action animation.

I have been watching for this movie to be available on blu-ray and for under $20. One morning while checking through the sales at Best Buy I discover this film on blu-ray and for only $5.99!! I am so happy as this is a great example of the fun in Animation. Great movie and a great price. Can't ask for more!

My son was excited to open this for Christmas and that made me happy!

This film must be seen on blu-ray. The high-def transfer is beautiful. Audio is great as well featuring original music from electronic group Plaid.

This is an excellent film that I feel is pretty accessible to even casual anime fans. The video quality on the Blu-ray is top notch. The only real negative is the English audio which is only lossy Dolby Digital so if you're a dub fan the audio quality is not as good as it should be. The Japanese audio is lossless PCM though.
