Overall I believe he will never re-create his greatness of 30 years ago. If I was not a huge fan I probably would not like his new stuff. But I am a loyal Cat Stevens fan as he was once my favorite so I am glad to hear new music from him after all these years.

We were fans of Cat Stevens a long time ago and were glad to hear something new from him.

Definitely not in the same class as his Cat Stevens albums, but still enjoyable to listen to.

What a great new CD by an old great singer. Even with the name change Cat Steven's voice is just as good as it was in the 70's

A better effort than his previous offering. I am still a bit disappointed in the music. However, I remain a fan of his from back in the 70's. There are some good insights into his philosophy of life in the liner notes.

Soulful, rhythmic but deep. Reminiscent of his early work and evocative of his emotional depth. Minimalist and thought-provoking.

A little something different this time out. Back to the roots with some covers and a couple of originals.

Yusuf aka Cat Stevens returns with his best album since returning to music several years ago. Consisting of covers and originals, Tell 'Em I'm Gone is a beautiful collection. His version of Edgar Winter's Dying To Live is especially moving. And the autobiographical Editing Floor Blues is a highlight. A great return for a fantastic artist. Welcome back, Cat!

Mild attempt to get back into the game. Just a nice album. Still great to hear from him.

Some of the songs sound like he is trying to hard. Really does not have the beautiful voice and melodies of the 70s, but overall a nice album.

you would have thought this would be a good cd to listen to...it was not...nothing there...he has lost his touch and might thing about just recording his old music again...couldn't believe how poor this cd was... a waste of good money...

A surprisingly poor Cat Steven's album, have not found a single stand-out song.

This is a good recording from Yusuf. I was intorduced to his music by my first guitar teacher and have been a fan ever since.

This is clearly not the man's best work, but it is a nice recording. You can tell that this is a heartfelt project, and there are some nice gems on the recording.
